Alpha but less social so somewhat omega. I'm generally taller and more physically impressive than most of my male piers particularly related to my age group ( old guys ). I don't really buy in to that stuff much though.

Omega. Prefer my own or my wife's company to socialising, thus deliberstely keep others at a distance, prefering to do my own thing rather than with a crowd, but I've never had an interview for anything that I didn't end up getting chosen for, all my work appraisals tell me I'm a well liked team player, I get put in charge of tasks and others on a regular basis, tend to make decisions when others can't, while physically I'm an active, outdoorsy, 6ft 6 bear of a man that can fix IT problems as competently as I can fix a car.
 
Sigma all the way. It's a blessing and curse, believe me. It's almost like I pull on the persona of whatever personality type I need in the moment and shed it when I'm done. Kinda leaves me feeling empty and fake because I'm actually aware I'm doing it, almost like I'm watching somebody else act as me. My confidence is as contrived as my subservience. I often used to say and do things just to see how others would react. I'm pretty much an emotionless bot, and living a life of 80% indifference, 10% manic highs and 10% manic lows has left me tired. :messenger_confused:
 
Maybe Omega/Beta?

In the workplace I tend to work best by myself with minimal supervision. I'm usually skeptical about most innovations and new processes but I tend to quickly become a resource for those new things and I usually end up training new hires wherever I work. I get along with others but I'm not a fan of the "stop and chat" like some. My beta side mostly comes from working for supervisors that tended to beat down their employees with criticism only to give glowing praise (and often a raise!) at the annual review. So basically only getting positive feedback once per year will tend to play heavily to my insecurities.

When I was single I did okay with women. In my 20s I was frequently friend zoned because I was too shy to make a move but still made out okay in spite of that. Learned from that realization and became a lot more assertive in my post divorce dating. Still had an issue getting too attached too quickly so I never was able to "play the field" and almost always focused on one woman at a time.

I also absolutely do not get along with guys that "demand respect" and take themselves seriously. Basically guys who consider themselves "alpha" unironically. It's like learn to self deprecate yourself and roll around in the mud with the rest of us you pompous ass.
 
Prefer being a michelangelo/donatello, but I can be a leonardo/raphael if there's a vacuum and it's necessary. Usually rotate around in different modes. Gotta be able to change and adapt to the environment. :messenger_beaming:
 
Omega. I don't care for leadership (though I can be a leader) or the group as I prefer to work alone. I never liked having lackeys around, despite some acting in that way around me. Just be your own man, you don't need me around.

Mostly Omega, as I strongly prefer to roll solo...but the charm or confidence doesn't really show in social situations until I've had a few. Even then, everything about me is played close to the chest and I dance to the beat of my own drum.

Omega :

I think most of GAF falls into this category (AKA people who post on forums to seek greater understanding, but also tend to be loners. Likewise, we read too much information on the internet and have hard nosed opinions.) I guess the takeaway for me, personally, is that Gamma males are genuinely passionate about certain things, sometimes niche, and are usually extremely capable at a select few things. At least that's how I feel as a hobby-musician who spends hours a week doing what I enjoy and being confident about it.

It's pretty hard for me to think of a single "Gamma" character, but Ethan Hawke in Before Sunrise gives me that vibe. He's kind of smart, kind of funny, kind of cool, but at the end of the night he's overall still just a random/average dude and the movie does a good job at presenting a Gamma males "forgettable" personality IMO :

Half way between gamma and omega I guess. I prefer to be alone but can get along with people just fine if I have to. I'm not exactly a natural born leader, but dont have a problem being in charge either.

I am always very calm, quiet and never stressed. I just don't care enough, yet I am one of the most social people around. People describe me as the no-nonsense guy. No feel for hierarchy, and because of that definitely not a leader. I take my own responsbilities and find that everyone else should do that, too. I can and am very willing to give others my thoughts and/or advice, but it is entirely up to them if they care to use it. Couldn't care less.

Considering it takes more effort to make me actually angry than to build a NASA rocket, I'll turn into a masterplanner to fuck someone up without that person every knowing. So in a way I can be very influential and manipulative and can think strategy.

Not too sure what to vote on with this. It's probably Omega/Gamma with a touch of Sigma based on these descriptions. I haven't voted... yet.

My best friend always says I'm an alpha personality and that's why I clash with some of our other friends spouses and shit. I think I'm more Omega I guess. I don't need to be the leader or boss, but I have enough confidence in myself that I will call bullshit the minute I spot it and am not afraid to defend my position on it. And I get really annoyed when I see bullying happening and am not shy to step in. Though that has led to me getting in a few more fights than I'd have preferred.
 
I'm dipping my toes into psychology because I had a mid-life crisis last year and I'm trying to learn about myself and other people for my own betterment and the ones around me so that I don't repeat the same mistakes again this year.

I'm a sigma in every sense of the word, down to the millimeter. When I'm around people, around women and when I'm on my own, which is a lot.
