Are you buying Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater?

No, I think MGS1 is the only great game in the series. They just get more and more ridiculous and tongue-in-cheek with every entry but the first one was groundbreaking and still holds up in a way the others don't

Zero interest in it and i loved part 3. And somehow I thought several times that it had come out already.

Edit: Holy shit it is 80 euros. Hell no.

I barely got around to making any progress on the HD version of part 3, so this "new" version of it isn't essential buy, and besides I am more interested in revisting the events of Portable Ops that tie in with the events here in MGS3....(but I don't have a PSP, so I am watching it instead..)

Why since Portable Ops occurs after 3?!

And by the way Kojimawise Peace Walker is the true follow up to 3.

If I remember correctly Portable Ops is not canon.

I'm a huge MGS fan but this is just a high end remaster of the 3rd game so it's expensive for what it is. It's the same old game with a new skin. I'd be all over a full remake of any of the metal gears, which would have also justified the price tag. Will wait on deep sale.

I fear the remake will end up sullying my memories of the original by not living up to the expectations I have, so I'll give it a pass until reviews are out and people played through it.

Depends who you ask.....

What I got from the video is Kojima basically say is not given that there is a distinction between games he directed and games he only directed. When he gives a list part of the MGS Saga he doesn't include Portable Ops.

So more relevant than Acid but not as relevant as Peace Walker or the MSX games.

Don't know who the youtuber is but he concludes that it makes sense only if you take MGS4 as the last game in the saga. So basically either Portable Ops or Peace Walker/MGSV are canon but not both.

It wouldn't make sense to me to erase Peace Walker and MGSV (despite their flaws) so the most reasonable answer is Portable Ops is not Canon.

MGS3 was the most consequential game for me since I was introduced to video games through Mario Bros.

MGS2 was huge for me as well (and maybe my favorite with how well it has aged) but 3 was the first time I felt an emotional pull from a game in a similar way to music or books - but with the power of gameplay behind it.

Snake Eater has always been my favorite in the series. It is the only game to actually feel like a direct sequel to MGS1. Great game, one of my favs. Also the ending is the best imho. Also the best boss fights. I mean, the game is 100% badass and the best in the series imho.

It also has a distinct James Bond vibe with the music. There is a oh-snap moment towards the end that dropped my jaws. The characters are SO SO good too. There is nothing bad about Snake Eater, it is just the best and I'm so happy this is what we got. Best VA too.

No i dont buy any games on launch date anymore, maybe in 1 year, theres no reason to... game is broken, updates updates updates, game is good (you already played WTF IS THIS)

No, I think this game will drop in price very quickly. I have nothing against this product, but I have zero hype for it, and again, not because it's bad; I just don't have any feelings for it and that's as a huge Metal Gear fan. xD

I think the price also plays a role. I don't care what game I'm buying; I'll never spend 80 bucks on it, especially not for a remake. With 80 bucks I can support many indie developers

They could have priced it between $45 and $50, like Clair Obscure, and maybe I would have bought it. I also have to say that I'm busy enough with games right now.

Lost Soul Aside is coming out next week, and then Silksong and Silent Hill F are coming out, so I'm not in a hurry.

Silk Song
Metal Gear 3
Dying Light The Beast
Silent Hill f
Final Fantasy Tactics Remake
Cronos
Borderlands 4
Battlefield 6
Little Nightmares 3
Ninja Gaiden 4
Arc Raiders

All in the next two months. What the fuck man
