Are you buying Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater?

MGS3 doesn't really have long cutscenes that often after the first 2 hours. Its mostly gameplay and mandatory radio calls are rare.
Good point. I do remember MGS3 as the most gameplay-heavy...if I'm not mistaken.

Pre ordered the deluxe yesterday. 6 days can't wait. On holidays until the day before talk about good timing.

This will instantly jump ahead of my admittedly much shortened backlog.

No, but you are buying it for me ! thanks OP 🙏

When is the reveal that you are actually the king of Spain papi ??
With your type of buying power i wouldn't be surprised :messenger_tears_of_joy:

I am no king papi, I just get up every morning to work so I can pay the shit I like

I pre-ordered it but am considering canceling. It's too expensive for a remake, and I'm not really hyped about anything here. I think that's because Kojima ruined the series for me with MGSV.

I think the remake is more for the new generation.

Between the last decade or so of modern Konami bullshit and the fact that it's using Unreal Engine 5, I will absolutely be taking a wait and see approach with this one.

I hope it turns out great and will be happy to buy it upon confirmation, but I have no confidence at this point in time.

I'm interested but I need to know they didn't "Twin snakes" this thing, and ruin the balancing by adding new QOL features.
The cutscenes are basically the same. Even the motion capture animation look like the old ones and editing. In terms of gameplay its very possible that this will be too easy. Kojima did approve the crouch walk for the 3DS version.

It could run at 20 fps and blurry AF on ps5 pro and im still buying it.

Full send full retard for metal gear.

It gets released in 8 days:

I have the digital deluxe edition pre-ordered so I can start playing two days earlier. I'm starting to get very hyped even though I know it won't be that different. I'm trying not to expect too much. I'm worried the gameplay is now too easy. They do offer the classic mode too which is nice.

Waiting for PC benchmarks. As it's UE5.

You know, I'm looking forward to this game and gears of war reloaded. That's where I'm at. I'm eager for remasters of xbox 360 and PS2 games.

*radio rings*

"AHA! There's the mangrove Swamp entrance! Don your scientist disguise and get in there QUICKLY,"

"But...why are you helping me?"

*fifteen minutes pass on static radio image*

"I saw....I saw MYSELF. The truth is between the lies. In the spaces. That's where we find truth!"

"I...I fight for the top brass!"

"Snake, have you ever heard of the Vostok rocket engine?"

*fifteen more minutes pass*
*Shagohod blows up US*
*The End expires*
*walk 15 feet*
*Radio*

"SNEK UR COVERED IN THE LEECH O NOEZ,"

"Yeah, my cock is pretty great, huh?"

*Skullface's backstory gets all fucked up*
*Zero never gets pin pricked*
*Grey Fox gets his happy ending with the Ice skater*
*Zanzibar Land remains a desert*

To be honest, probably not. Its a great game but I've played it loads of times already and frankly I think its a bit overpriced if the multi-player part isn't of great interest in its own right.

Yes, I pre-ordered a Deluxe edition for PS5 but had to do it internationally so it will arrive until september 4th.

I'm going to wait to see how the MP is and I may double dip on PC at some point in the future.

Will I play it? Yes.
Will I buy it? Yes.
Will I pay full price for it? Nah.

That said, when videos start popping up of people playing it I may change my mind.

It is cool that it exists but a mgs1 remake would have been better as there is lots of aspects that need to be reworked from the ground up.

Being one of my favorite games of all time, I feel obligated. At the same time, I'm completely prepared to be disappointed by another modern remake.

The original was my pick for 2004 goty, I played through it lord only knows how many times, but I don't think I played it much after MGS4 came out. Anyway there's no way I could possibly resist getting Delta on day 1.

Probably. Just waiting for reviews to confirm it's not broken or something. Wasn't the biggest fan on MGS3 (nothing like 1+2) but I think it aged better than 2.

Also I wanna show support so we get more MGS in the future.

I preordered it because I traded in my PS5 and wanted to spend the credit because who knows if GameStop is going to be around tomorrow. But I hope it's good.

Being a marketer for this must be the easiest job in the world.

"Yo, dickheads, new MGS!"

That's it, that's all you have to do and the money will roll in.

I never preorder games but I'm excited for this. Haven't played MGS3 since like 2008. I think it might frustrate newcomers to the series as the gameplay isn't exactly amazing by today's standards but it's going to be a blast for me.

It has MGSV like aiming and crouch walk.

I have it pre-ordered (thank you CDKeys) but no way I would've paid the retail price for it.

When I first chipped my PS2, I would go on eMule and would type "PS2 Games" and at 1 point Metal Gear Solid 3 popped up and I downloaded it. Not being a fan of the series, I actually really enjoyed it, so I am curious how this will be. Hope the controls are smoother, always had an issue with Metal Gear games in that sense.
