Are you happy with your height?

1.86, yes.

According to "dating online" sites, if you are above 1.70-1.75 most women will accept it.

I never knew height with women was such a deal until i started online dating.

It's annoying. Specially cause a girl who's 5 feet tall saying she only dates a 6 foot tall guy or more us crazy cause even at 5'8 I can tower over her. I forget where I read it, but some guy, to do a mini experiment, made a profile, said he was 6 feet, maybe more I forget, and got dates with girls who were short but said on their profile they only dated guys that were 6+ feet. They guy was like 5'8 or so. when on the date, the women couldn't tell he was less than 6feet cause they only think they know what a 6 foot tall person is like. The height shaming from social media is also ridiculous. Apparently a guy can be no good for something they genetically can't change but I can't comment on someone's weight.

6'1", would be happier at 6'5"+ but nothing I can do. My dad's like 5'9ish and my mom 5'7" so definitely beat expectations a bit.

Yeah it's pretty crazy but I think it's more to do with online dating. I have a friend who's around 5'7" and is the biggest player I know. He get's girls of all heights because he carries himself with a confidence that outweighs a lot of girl's hang-ups about height. He meets them socially in person and I think that makes all the difference. Online dating a girl can say "Only over 6'" and not give guys a chance whereas if she met them in real life she might not care nearly as much.

If I was on the shorter side I'd stay away from online dating and try to meet women out in public.

5'8 and I know I'm 'short' but it's never held me back - I be grabbing boards over these tall mf'ers (hah) and I've only been told once by a girl I'm too short, not too shabby.

6'3'', nice not needing a step stool ever.

Flip side is that I don't fit in cars or airplanes very comfortably for long trips without the knees killing me.

Also impossible to find size 13 shoes that don't look like they belong on a clown...doesn't matter how cool a shoe looks on display, by time you blow it up 50% they all look ridiculous.

I never understood it myself. Why is height such a big deal to women? Is it a image thing? Why does it honestly matter? Makes no sense to me.

6'6....while I enjoy being tall, I wouldn't mind being a few inches shorter. Having to buy tall shirts is a pain in the ass.

I think it's silly too, but Tall people look more confident and exude an aura of leadership and ambition compared to shorter people. At the hospital I work at, the chiefs of all the respective departments are all over 6 feet tall and built. They're the ones that look like they know what they're doing in a board room meeting. They're the guys you see during emergencies who just seem to be more aware of what's going on and all the nurses and staff rely on them for split second decision making.

Women love confidence and height adds confidence.

I'm 5'10" and ok with it, but I had to take 6 years of daily HGH injections to reach that.

Otherwise I'd have been 4' and a few inches at best.

Thank god for insurance; those vials of HGH are expensive. As your weight increases, so does the dosage... and back in 1998-2004, a vial that lasted 7 (and then down to 4) days cost $450....

Growth hormone deficiency sucks. At least it only affects height.

I'm content with my height (6'1" about 186cm). But I get shit for being short from my brothers, I'm the shortest in the family.

I am 6'4" and I am comfortable with my height. Though at times I have wished I was maybe just a bit shorter so my legs would fit more comfortably in cars and other confined seating spaces. Also finding clothes is a hassle.

It also helps them feel less insecure about their own height. Lot of women enjoy feeling like they have someone who is capable of taking care of them. Height artificially gives them this impression. Confidence is also only artificially boosted by height.

Isn't that a myth though?

If you did a study over a very large population size, you would find a correlation between height and things like average hand size, feet size, dick size, ears etc.

Bigger men, in general have bigger appendages.

However it's a very loose correlation. Loose enough to not be reliable in everyday life.

I'm 5'7" and I had a long time, big(ha) problem's with the Girls, because I always were the shorter end...
Fucking Girls who said i'm to short, the guy always has to be taller.
fuck them, for my depression, till I was older.
Now with 34 I get along with it, but taller would be nice!

Happy with my height, could do without the back pain of being a little taller than average though.

Yeah, I'm 6'5" and when I cook, I like to cook, my back really starts to hurt because of how I have to bend down to chop anything. I dream of custom kitchen counters that are about 5 inches higher than the average or have adjustable height kitchen counters.

Otherwise, I love being tall.

6'4", and to be honest, no I'm not.

It's always been both a blessing and a curse. Sure, I can reach things from up high, see over people in a crowd, use my extra reach in hockey, etc. It has its perks.

But have you ever tried shopping for shoes with size 14 feet? Or having every shirt you put on, even in XL, come up an inch or two short in the arms and body? It gets old fast, I just want clothes that fit me normally.

You are more prone to back issues. And legroom on planes? Holy fuck. I think life would genuinely be a little easier if I were like 6'0" or 6'1".

As someone who's either 6'2'' or 6''3 (I usually say 6'3'' because that's what it feels like and I'm an inch taller than my two older brothers), I prefer going to department stores where I can easily grab the shoe size I'm looking for as opposed to going to say a Journey's and asking for a size 14 only to be given a horrified look. There's no denying that shoes look gargantuan on my feet whereas certain sneakers don't.

And I also agree that fitting into cars and closed spaces is a royal pain in the ass. Nothing is worse than having someone recline backwards only to trigger claustrophobia. It drives me nuts whenever I get into my brother's car and don't have decent breathing room for my legs.

Any way, to answer the OP's question, I'm pretty damn happy with my height even it means more bending. I was one of those kids who was a nerdy pipsqueak growing until puberty hit and I started hitting the gym. My long hair makes me look taller.

It sucks having to duck or watch out for areas with low ceilings but otherwise, I can't complaint. I would love to go out with women more around my height if not taller than me but otherwise, I don't have a preference. Tallest I've gone out with is 6'0''; shortest 5'3'' I want to say.

How do tall people deal with having something like a smaller dick? Even a taller guy with an average sized unit makes it look less impressive. Being Shaq's size and having a small dick? Fuck that.

My height is seemingly a total non-factor in my life, so sure, I'm happy with it. I'm 5'9" (175cm and change), so I'm shorter than all of you 6ft+ mountain people, but it's all good. If it's been a limiting factor with women, it's never been brought up to my face. My girlfriend is 5'3", so she can still wear shoes with a bit of heel without being taller than me, so she's got no complaints.

I'm also 10/11 shoe size, which basically means shoes are always available in my size. That's pretty nice, I suppose. I also don't have cramping issues on planes, which is definitely a problem for my taller older brother (who's 6'2"/188cm).

If a genie popped up and said, "Hey, here's a freebie! Do you want to be 3" taller?" then I'd probably go for it, sure, just to be 6'. But on a day to day basis, I never think about my height, so I guess that's pretty good.

"I wish I was little bit taller,
I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good
I would call her
I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
and a '64 Impala"

5'9 here.
