I don't know why I downloaded this accelerator in the first place, I uninstalled it, and now every time I try to dl a file it gives me this -

I tried uninstalling and re-installing Firefox, it's still there. Any way I can wipe the DAP off my system? Do I have to get it out of the registry?

There's a good chance that the download accelerator overrode a DLL or has overwritten some functions associated with the built-in Firefox download manager. I'd say check your Mozilla Firefox/plugins directory, the Mozilla Firefox/ root install directory for any leftover files from the DAP install.

Barring that, uninstall Firefox, blow away the install directory, and reinstall firefox. Backup all favorites, etc.

Thanks :)

I found a leftover .dll file and deleted it, that fixed it.

btw, what was that firefox extension that allowed for faster downloads and seemed to work right away. Pages loaded real quick after I got it the first time. Only problem is that I reformatted my pc and redownloaded every program so I don't have it anymore.
