The Asylum remaster for One X was already great. Runs at 45fps, so it fits into any Xbox VRR window.
I have no need to buy yet another remaster of this. Especially since there's a very good chance they make changes for the modern audience.

If that's the purpose of the game. Comic book characters are "killed" all the time. Trying to link it other games and build off it seems like a mistake if it doesn't allow you to do the title of the game.

Asylum is such noble product. The content is amazing, it's easy to play, and it ran on a toaster even at release.

Kind of sad to think they are going to half ass a new version just to justify a full priced release.

The same sources that told me layoffs were incoming months ago (and were correct) tell me they've internally greenlit a remake of Arkham Asylum and will potentially be continuing the Arkhamverse with the Origins voice cast. They recently got back together and did Arkham Shadows with Camoflaj.

If we will follow the phrasing from this rumor, Arkham Asylum remake is greenlighted and any potential future games set in Arkhamverse cast would use Arkham Origins cast, like recent Arkham Shadow. It doesn't really say that Asylum remake will have Origins cast

We already knew batman was coming back day 1 from the calender man easter egg, and numerous hints about the state of the brainwashed justice league in the story foreshadowed getting them all back.
They had this multi year plan of telling the true ending with saving everyone and finally defeating braniac, but then the game bombed so the story is being told in an accelerated and disjointed pace that makes no sense because nothing is being explained anymore, justice league members just show up as alive again .

The final promised deathstroke season will probably be the last so bringing superman and batman back then seems like they are forced to.

If they're trying to squeeze at least some money out of SS, adding Batman would be their best option so it makes sense. This is what WB has done throughout the history of their DC ownership. "Just add Batman!"

I would most likely be down for an Arkham Asylum remake that didn't screw with the voice cast. If you take out Conroy, you can throw it in the trash alongside the Dead Rising remake.

They aren't capable of making a game that plays or looks as good as the original 360 game from 2009 in 2024, so how exactly would they expect to "improve" upon it with a remake?

Maybe they should switch to something more feasible for them, like mobile game development.

I actually really liked the voice actors in Origins. However, I will not buy this. I own both games on Xbox 360 and own the PS4/Xbone remasters on both platforms. And I own Arkham City on PC. As you can tell, I love this franchise. I have no need to ever buy a game in the series again. And if I needed to buy it again I'd re-buy the 360 versions to be honest.
