It is much harder than the fights I found. It took me a few tries just at lvl 2. You'll get it, but it does seem like it could be rebalanced.

Totally normal. You should see the code show up after about 2 hours generally from what I've seen. I'm not sure why it takes so long to process.

Yeah. Took me a few hours, and a couple times of having to "confirm" payment method again using the same card. Eventually it went through and I got my code. I hear that it only does this the first time you order from them.

Anyone know how we get that 500 yen off Splatoon 2?

If I order two separate cards they'll give me two codes and combine the total in the end, no?

Got it with an Amazon.jp code (took a little over an hour to verify my US CC) and tried to run through a lvl 4 Grand Prix at lunch with Kid Cobra in handheld mode. Love this freaking game. Got to the 8th match against Master Mummy before I lost one by a hair. Felt like an idiot for getting baited into throws by his charging shield a few times lol.

You get MASSIVE bonuses for hitting multiple targets with a single punch. Try using Arms that help facilitate that. I always had pretty good success with the Triblast because of the spread shot. Also, you can hit the enemy for some bonuses. It will click after a while.

eh, I just refreshed the "order details" page on Amazon.co.jp every 30 minutes or so. The emails are sometimes a bit behind.

As for eShop codes, I just ordered a digital copy of ARMS from Amazon. I assume balances will combine if that's what you're doing. Keep in mind that you definitely want to make a second account if you go that route because credit doesn't transfer when you switch your primary account's region.

Yeah I have a second account that's exclusively for the Japanese eshop. I'm assuming I would use that for both download codes and to buy ARMS, no?

Right.

If you buy the game code directly though, there's a promotion for 500 yen off of digital Splatoon 2 as well. After that hit my account I pre-ordered S2 for 5,312 yen. Roughly $48 by current exchange rate.

Nobody really knows, I personally think midnight eastern time is a safe bet considering Mario Kart went live then, and the game has been getting pushed at Midnight in other territories

Not sure if that's your problem but you need a new amazon.jp account and not be logged on your usual local amazon one

How do you know which arms are light, medium or heavy? Looks can be deceiving and I don't see the info in game on the selection screen.

I think anything that looks like a popper is light and anything that looks like a megaton is heavy, with some exceptions like whammers and homies maybe? Everything else I think is medium.

I'm missing something about skillshot. Couldn't figure it out during the Testpunch either. Everything seems to be going well then in the last few seconds Helix somehow gets hundreds of points and pulls ahead of me. How the hell does the scoring work in this mode?

There's not all that much from a single players point of view, but the 'arcade' mode takes a while to get through and is varied enough in that it isn't just 10 one-on-one fights.

The online stuff is quick to get into and there's lots of variety so I can see it being something to keep coming back to.
