Alright, the writers of the show are geniuses. The way jokes play off of the jokes earlier in the show is just amazing.

Last week's episode was solid, but this was one of the best AD episodes ever. Easily a top 3 episode...I'd have to see it again to call it my favorite. Just hilarious. Grade A comedy

:lol :lol :lol :lol

Tobias in Blue (and Diamonds!!!!)
Tom Jane :lol
Every

One of the best episodes of the best show on TV!

Comedy is in the details and this show has it in bunches.

Mouth to Vermouth headline on the news
Drink in the pool table pocket
Business "Model" with Solid as a Rock song in the background.

Great.

Forgot George getting beat up in a different country the same way Oscar did the week before.

i have no idea about ratings, but awareness has definitely improved. more people must be watching at the new time slot.

We're only on the first series here but I think this is my new favourite show.

This better not get cancelled to. To many good shows have gone down in the last few years I don't think I could take losing another.

I really hope it's doing better. Hopefully, with word spreading, the DVD out, and that Emmy surprise win out of nowhere, the show's gaining momentum.

Knowing fox, this increase in popularity will be seen as a threat to the rest of their 'suck' shows and they will cancel the show to save "Who wants to lick the crack of my ass".

Unfortunately last week's episode did pretty poorly - about the same as the season one average.

I will say this week's episode was much better than last week's, though!

Sad but true. :(

Tonights episode was hilarious, and finally got my dad to watch it with me. I even heard him laugh out loud several times, and he normally hates tv. I have been trying to convince all my friends of this show, with some luck I might add.

Even if the show's ratings only remain the same, Fox still has the DVD sets as a second source of revenue, and I'm guessing they'll be pretty successful.

Hopefully people just didn't realise it was back on last week. So they'll hear a friend talking about it and go, "Oh is that that show that won an Emmy? I meant to watch that. What time's it on again?"

I'm ever optimistic.

I couldn't stop laughing at the scene with George Michael discussing Anne and Michael's facial expressions. Oh god, I'm laughing just thinking about it. The kid who plays George Michael has some of the best comic timing I've ever seen.

You know, if the retards won't watch one of the best comedies ever for the laughs, they could at least watch it for best looking woman on TV (I'll leave you to work out who I mean).

I thought the season 2 premiere was pretty average, but this was much funnier. We watched the first few eps of the DVD we picked up today, and I can't decide which is my fav eps so far. The second eps "Top Banana" was just so hilarious, even compared to the latter half of seaon one where they were really building on the established jokes.

EDIT: oh, thanks for reminding me, my wife and I remark on almost every episode how George Michael is the greatest character and how insanely lucky they were to find a young actor who just nailed the part so perfectly.

Whichever episode from the first season has Oscar swearing and it's all beeped out is probably my favourite. I can't even remember the rest of the episode, but I was laughing so hard I couldn't see the screen anymore for the tears in my eyes and I started to get a stitch.

My favorite episode from both seasons is the one where they have flashbacks about how George taught his kids lessons using these insane pranks, and they tried to do it on Gob, only for it to backfire and George do the "final lesson".

Are you talking about when Buster just starts lashing out at his mother?

(talking about riding bikes)
Michael: You're gonna be eating my dust, Buster.
Buster: Heh well you're *long 10 second bleep.*
(pause)
Michael: Well let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Yeah, that's my fave as well. Top notch stuff.

I liked the "Mission Accomplished" banner on the house at the unveiling. It was especially hilarious to then see the the walls of the house collapse, revealing to everyone there that the reason they were given for being there turned out to be completely false. What they thought was supposed to be something turned out to be nothing. Sounds familiar...

They throw in a hell of a lot of stuff like that, much of it extremely subtle. Anyone else notice that after Gob found out some extremely important and dangerous information last week, he stayed where he was and did nothing about it for 7 mintues? Certainly rings a bell...

Yeah, the writing is quite impressive and actually deep if you look for it regarding symbolism and the links to the war in Iraq (building homes in Iraq).

Buster: You lied to me - I'm joining the army!! (yeah I'm paraphrasing) Perfect punchline.

Unfortunately, most people don't like the humour you have to think about to get the full meaning or tie into current events on a subtle level.

Also, whoever is playing George Michael is one of the best young comedic actors on tv. Tobias makes me laugh out loud every episode, and their mother is evil incarnate. The facial expressions are great, and I really miss Anyong (or whatever is his real name is :lol )

One of the best shows on tv hands down.

And thats why you don't teach lessons to your kids.

David Cross's physical acting is what gets me every time. Like the first episode this year when he falls off the bed or last year with his facial expression when he and Gob are trying to sneak out of the coffee shop without Michael realising they weren't trying to invest in that business...oh I've got to get the DVD, it's like the perfect series.

Just watched tonight's ep. Man, that was great. So many new in-jokes, and it's only episode two. Something I found neat was that the newspaper they flash on screen actually has articles that you can read if you're watching a tape or TiVo. There's a great line about Michael keeping the stairs to his jet around him at all times.

whatever that line was that Gob said when he was being lowered in to the ribbon cutting ceremony had me and my wife laughing.. that was hysterical..

all of the in jokes with Tobias "hiding".. god I am glad this show doesn't have a laugh track.

Thomas Jane.. oh man that was great...

9/10

I'm watching it right now.

Did anybody else catch Tobias on the side of that blue truck (when Lindsay was going into the club)? :lol

EDIT: "Solid as a rock (Iraq)" :lol
