As others have said, in the UK twat/cunt is just a general insult and very fitting to describe her!

Well, insults like "twat" and "cunt" are still historically derogatory towards women. May not be as gender specific on that side of the Atlantic but Leigh Alexander would still view it as a sexist attack due to its connotations here.

A previews writer with freedom? I don't know how much use a previews writer is that is never invited to any publisher event or is allowed to interview developers.

Anyone saying he'd be a great addition to the Joystiq podcast hasn't listened the show. Maybe some are familiar with and dislike the roundtable discussion Joystiq had in the past (which shocks me), but for the past couple of months, it's more of an editorial show now. The pick a topic and interview those in the know. So while Arthur may add something to the show, it's not exactly what you think it is.

Justin McElroy personally smothered the innocence and wonder that was the Joystiq podcast with a corduroy pillow while it blissfully slept and then threw its lifeless corpse into a river of bile and hate.

Good luck to him in his new position - smaller site but bigger role, so it's a good move. One hopes that this will not preclude the snark delivery on RebelFM. I kinda wish he was moving to GB, since I think he'd fit in well there, particularly in the 'cast.

Wasn't he responsible for the music selection on the RFM breaks? Whoever handled that had great taste.

It's an odd move. I was expecting a higher position at a lower site (well every site is lower compared to IGN but you know what I mean). Joystiq is probably the one gaming site I actually read daily besides Gaf but I don't read that much previews at all so I hope he does do the occasional review. I would love to hear him on the joystiq podcast but that went down hill after the change up so unless they go back to the old formula I don't think I will hear from him as often which is a downer but then there is Rebel FM and I think that will continue on even it's it's once a month like it is currently.
