the combat seemed so slow after mordor its ridiculous.
its such a shame they are so reluctant to mix up the core gameplay. combat was a step backwards from AC4, which wasnt that great to begin with

OK, so I love the AC games and can put up with hiccups here and there but Jesus Christ the framerate is so bad I can't even play the game. I just made assassin and now there are all these things I can do and the FR just plummeted. I'm talking slideshow here. I can;t even navigate a building because I keep overshooting things.
I'm a pretty big pacifist but I am going to write Ubisoft. This is such bullshit. Why the fuck can;t they drop the NPC count and at least give me a stable 30fps.

EDIT: I am number 58 in que for Sony support. I am going to, for the first time ever, request a refund and see if I can buy GTA V instead. Anyone have any tips as to what I should say?

I got Korra for $9. If you're a fan of the show its worth that much. But not $15.

Yeah its day and night. I actually enjoy the combat when it is is 30 fps. I think I'm just gonna switch to PC.

But then there would be 2 AC games next year. Although we did already have 3 this year (Liberation HD, Rogue, Unity).

PSA: Any bewildered AC fans who were gonna get this and somehow haven't already checked out Shadows of Mordor, I recommend Mordor with extreme prejudice. Better combat, fun stealth and the Orc politics are a refreshing addition to open world stealth games.

To answer my own question for anyone wondering the same if you partook in targets buy 2 get 1 free, in the states if the plastic is broken they'll only replace it for the exact same game on the same system, but currently best buy is offering $40 in store credit for the trade in and if you have GCU you'll get $44. So its not a total waste if you bought other games you wanted, for instance I bought COD and MCC so if anything I'm technically making $4 with gcu.

I find, preordering is fine when its a brick and mortar where you can get a discount for preorder, because I can always cancel. I've shied away from preordering digitally however, too easy to get burned.

I played that part on PC last night and it chopped it there, too. Not nearly to the same degree on my hardware, but it was a noticeable frame rate drop.

Alright, I'm not gonna deal with the performance issues when there are so many other games to play. Anyone know the Best Buy return policy on preordered games? Already shipped the game, and I couldn't cancel earlier today.

Even all the reviews say the backdrop is amazing. They need to do another AC so this Paris doesn't go to waste with this shit.
As someone who enjoys AC depending on when they are set in, this is terribly sad.

I really cant understand how they have spent so many years with so many people and yet they created a game that is way less impressive than Infamous & Sunset Overdrive which to my understanding have much smaller teams and budgets

Nintendo deserves absolutely no blame for Sonic Boom.
I believe if the plastic isn't broken you can return it for a full refund and if you ordered online I think you can return it to a store (not sure on that part though.)
I think this year is the year that's kind of highlighting that perhaps most of the critics accused of being paid off really aren't, and most likely the remnant either had some other sort of pressure or are just excitable fanboys/girls anyway.
Funnily enough it sounds like there's more of a legitimate issue among the more overlooked mobile review sites, though maybe that got cleaned out in later years?

This was the first time ever I had to call support. I'm pretty forgiving with things but this was just unacceptable. I was worried because I heard rumors about how hard it is to get a refund but the guy was cool as shit! I explained the problem, was very cordial and he said they normally are not supposed to do it but he would in this case. Says, 3-5 business days to see the credit. That is perfect for GTA V coming out next week. I am very impressed. I know not everyone gets the same treatment but I am one satisfied customer. If I had a twitter account I would copy/paste the chat history on to the Ubisoft twitter feed lol
This is reverse false. I had the same problem at the church. AsI entered it got reeeeally bad. No NPC anywhere and as I climbed up the wall it was stuttering like no tom. Then, after the cut scenes and I entered the world as an assassin for the first time, it was power point presentation time. All the stuff on the map opened up and I couldn't even climb a wall. It was super bad. The imput lag was so bad that I kept jumping over to the wrong place, couldn't even line up to go in a window and the NPC were all doing the robot. I am not exaggerating, All the NPCs in the world looked like clock arms ticking. Horrible.
