I will read literally anything and everything about Astro Bot, including a benign post about its file size. I don't give a shit, I am just TOO hyped for this game.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This game looks like it's the first AAA game that can actually compete against a 3D Mario, and those are my favorite games. I could not be more excited for this game, and for Nintendo to finally have some competition in the 3D platformer space!

Huge wins for us!

Wait for the PS5 Pro.

DF speculates that this game can hit 120 fps.
There are no reasons this game could double its framerate on PS5 Pro. The only games that could double their framerate are the games using RT. But as Astrobot doesn't there are no reasons it could be 120fps there. It's just a fanboy wet dream.

This better revitalize Sony's efforts on producing more platformers and child-friendly titles.
For all the BS "sad dad walking simulator" criticism/trolling Sony has received the past two years, it's extremely funny that they're pushing these two games in H2 2024.

Astro Bot is (most likely) the better one by far, but LEGO Horizon Adventures, to my surprise, looks actually good.
Also, I think more people should check out Sackboy: A Big Adventure and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

I'll wait for heavy discount since PSVR2 not supported. Sorry I want to support AstroBot but I want quality games for my £500 headset.

you can a 100 hour game with 1 gig of data. I dont see the point of obsessing over file size.

If the file size is small, it doesn't mean the game is small. But if the file size is very big...it's a major hint that the levels, textures etc are DEFINITELY not small

The dude from DF did come off as a fanboy, so you could be correct.

We'll see.

Well said. How the hell can you double the framerate by a 10% faster CPU. Complete bullshit.

Not enough blood, guns and zombies for angsty teenagers. Also colours other than grey hurt their eyes.

I think they look great, I love colorful art when done right, I loved Astro's Playroom so I can't wait for this game, Not all games need to be mindless violence and guns.

Meg count was the only that mattered back in the cartridge era and it still is today,
Really the file size should be printed in large characters on the front and spine of the box, really let you know you're getting something for your money
, like how neo geo owners were enjoying 45 mega of ninja combat while genesis owners were stuck with a pathetic 4 megs of streets of rage
In other file size news an Atari 2600 game reached the 1 meg (128 kB) this past year

You could have at least said PS4 level, it looks much better than Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus (2013), which is the graphical peak of cartoonish art direction on the console.
