This is why Asobi needs support studios around it. They'd be awesome doing a Zelda style game with Level-5. Maybe we can see them work with Acquire or Spike Chunsoft if the Kadokawa deal goes through.

You calling that game a basic ass platformer was already a lie. But thinking an expansion should have even been nominated also tells me you might also be a little delulu. Astro Bot has also released post game content that added to the difficulty and was free. Since we are using those things at a barometer for goty.

Expensive game, limited advertising, target audience is small on PlayStation.

Winning GOTY could change a lot of things for Astro Bot over the next year or so.

Game will eventually drop to 30-40 dollars, which will open things up. It'll probably get a new ad campaign based on winning GOTY. If Sony is smart they already have this ready to go to push for some last minute holiday sales, but just winning GOTY it'll probably get another million or two people who feel like they just have to find out what the deal is.

It was already likely to sell as well as Ratchet and Clank on PS4, but now? It has potential to go further. Ceiling is now definitely in that 7-10 million range if Sony pushes for it.
