I know that was probably important to keep the size of the game pretty small, when it's bundled with every PS5. However it looks pretty terrible. Hopefully it has some Craig easter egg.

Looks fun. Would have bought it, but for free I'm all over it.

Hope there is more to come, a fully fledged game or some DLC.

It's doing exactly what it should be doing... making the whole of the gaming media flip out about the DualSense.

What exactly did you expect from a free pack-in cartoon platformer? TLOU2?
No, I mean for example Touryst have very simple, yet good looking aesthetic. This (in my opinion) does not have that. It looks stylistically like old-school game with 4k res.

My understanding is that it really exists to show all the features of the Dual Sense.

However Astro deserves better. Wish they found some other property to do this and gave Astro a "real" game. That PSVR game is absolutely outstanding.

Touryst is just 3D Dot Game Heroes with tilt-shift. It's literally designed to look like an old-school game in a modern setting. Odd comparison, but each to their own.

True, but I was wanted to present some appealing game design in some small game. It's obviously matter of taste, I don't disagree there : )

I'll take this over the Touryst any day, but then I'm not fond of the minecraft/lego aesthetic.

This is as good as it gets for a free pack in game IMO.

We've come a long way from the T-Rex PS1 demo.

Looks terrible..? What do you mean?? It looks great @ 60fps!

Does everything needs to looks photorealistic or something? This art-style is fantastic and everything pops with vibrant color and detail. Sure the complexity isn't sky-high, but that doesn't mean it look "terrible".

Spoiled kids with their terraflopses.

I don't like the art style, that's all. Taste realted : )

It's not a bad question per se. I plan on playing and beating it but I would love to know if it can be uninstalled afterwards to release space on the disk.

Why torture yourself with this sort of stuff?

If it can be uninstalled, great. If not it changes nothing. Pretty sure they wont make it permanent if it is truly a space hog, which I doubt, and it is likely to disappear in future updates anyway.

Lets not fret about disk space before the fucker even launches.

It's not a life of matter or death I agree, but it would be cool to know. If they say "No, it can't be uninstalled" I'd say "Oh well" and move on. At the end it won't change my opinion about the console - but being so close to launch, every morsel of information is nice.

i don't see whats wrong with it it's a tech demo to get you started and show off the controller features. it's free can't really complain , i guess you don't like it you can always delete it and get the space back.

No. It's a genuine question. Have no intention of playing it.
Do you normally skip all tutorials? This "game" is the tutorial for the DualSense. Only a rube would not invest a few minutes. I mean in theory you just bought a new console with new features.... and you don't want to check them out.... OK

If the grumpiest gamers i have ever witnessed are more excited about Astro's Playroom than you are then there is something seriously wrong with you. See a therapist. jk Lol

Actually looks pretty damn good for a free pack in.
And I can also see alot of young children playing this, seems like a good game to learn how to play games.

Looks charming and fun. And its free. And it showcases de DualSense.

You literally cant complain about anything. Unless you are a 'everything that is not an AAA ultrarealistic game is trash' kid.

15 mins, prob double the time most will wait to uninstall it for the precious ssd space.

This is the game we all play waiting for everything else to install and a tech demo. All for it personally.

Out of interest, what was the last console with a built in game that wasn't a Playstation? Master System?
