Ate Big Mac for the first time

I like BigMacs. I like Whoopers too.

My favorite, though, is the McDonald's Cheddar McMelt, which, if I'm not mistaken, is only available in Brazil.

"One of only a few McDonald's burgers to be served on a dark sesame bun, the Cheddar McMelt is available in Brazil and comes with a beef patty topped with melted cheddar cheese, onions, and shoyu sauce."

I know you could get it, or something very close, in the 80s (maybe early 90s) for a short amount of time here in the States. I remember getting one. It's possible that it didn't have the shoyu, I can't remember since it's been so long. It also might have only been a local thing, but I definitely remember a cheddar and onion melt type burger from there when I was a kid.

I was actually surprised at the variety of croissants and such they had in Canada last time I was there.

edit: i distinctly remember not liking the melt at the time because of the bun, I recall eating a melt on a dark bread like rye later and placing the taste as what I didn't like about the burger at the time

Not a fan of the Meat to Bun ratio on the regular Big Mac. The double Big Mac is pretty good but sloppy as hell. Rather just have a couple McDoubles.

As for BK offerings Dbl Whopper Jr is the best BK burger.

the sauce has a few different kinds of autolyzed/hydrolyzed yeast extract, which is basically MSG. It tastes good because it’s tricking your brain into thinking you’re eating something really delicious when it’s basically cardboard.
What's the practical difference---from my perspective---between something tasting good and my brain thinking something tastes good? Matter of fact, if you have an easy way of convincing me that cardboard tastes great I'd probably use it. Make every Amazon delivery a gift that keeps on giving.

At 31. Ok I get it. It's great. I was a huge kfc Grander fan and mcdonald mcroyal/cheesburger guy but Big Mac surprised me.
Why

Edit: bowl movements fine coming up 20 hours after consumption.
Edits: grander might still be better but big Mac will be considered competition by me now... and it's cheaper

It lacks the nutrition your brain thinks it has

I know virtually any other burger is such a better burger but there is just something about the unique taste of the total package that big mac provides. There is a burger and then there is a big mac. Hard to explain. Once every couple of years(usually in vegas) i'll get drunk and eat one or two

big macs are great, but i wouldn't pay full price. if you're truly big brains you'll get the app and take advantage of their daily deals

Love Big Macs.

Even better. If you're drunk it's impossible to choke on it. Even time I've eaten one, there's so much of that orangey sauce, all you got to do it chew it once or twice and it literally slides down your throat.

I bet a professional eater can down them in record time.

It's not terrible, but I've never seen the appeal.

Of everything you can put in a burger, why would I want more bread?

I do not go to Mcdonalds a lot at all but I always like get the Big Mac. I think it tastes better than the quarter pounder.

I use to enjoy whoppers. As a kid it was all about the Arch Deluxe. However, I don’t eat that way anymore. What I really enjoy are BBQ Seitan Wings. I call them Satan Wings, but they’re delicious. They won’t stay in your stomach for 10 years or become pink goop.

I tend to crave one every six months to a year, break down and get one only to be disappointed and swear off ever eating one again. It's a vicious cycle.
That's how I am with Taco Bell. Maybe once per year I remember why I hate it so much.

I had this when I was in Hawaii last year. Delicious.

After working at mcdonalds, I swore off it forever, except the fries and parfaits. I took a lot of those. My manager told me too much salt on fries can give people a heart attack, which I interpreted as less work in the future

I have the Big Mac sauce at home, it's produced by a local company that also sells it in supermarkets.
I don't have anything against McDonalds, but I prefer cooking at home, so I don't visit there often.

Man, one of the worst parts of the video so far was watching $127.68 worth of Big Macs turn into a $195.43 order.

That's $68 added to a $127 order. And this is why Uber Eats is a fucking scam.

edit- ok anyone who watches the whole video will find that the cost gouging of Uber Eats does not continue holding the crown for the worst parts of the video lol. That was gross and amazing.

The last three Big Mac's I had sucked so I stopped buying them, that was like 4 years ago. The sauce is unappetizing and the bun/lettuce to meat ratio is horrendous.

Double 1/4 Pounder w/cheese is the go to for me at McDonalds, but those Angus burgers were pretty good when they introduced them. Damn, I have not been to a McDonalds in a long time. It is mostly Chic-Fil-A for fast food now (delicious and cheap) otherwise I go to local restaurants for a quick bite (mostly thai, calzones, and local sandwich places). I usually cook at home though.

This is making me want to go and get a DBLQP w/cheese now. >.<

I like a Big Mac every now and then, but I do wish I could get a Little Mac year round. Sometimes I’m in a snacking mood.

So weird that they can’t just remove a piece of bread, a beef patty, and a slice of cheese to get a smaller version. Once it’s gone it’s gone. Why? It’s not a fucking McRib.

McDonald's is pretty much the only fast food that doesn't give the instashits. I feel like death after it but the stomach holds strong. ✊

Next time I'll take a Double Triple Bossy Deluxe on a raft, 4x4 animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease; make it cry, burn it, and let it swim.
