Unlike the common belief of some people. GAF is like any other forum out there. There is stupid people, smart people, smart stupid people, etcetera. You have to filter through the crap to get to the interesting parts.Pimpwerx said:Hehe, one does wonder why industry folk tolerate the general stupidity of this forum. But hey, I guess we have our moments on here, from time to time. GAF is the Boston of the gaming forum world. It's a little bigtown...or was that a big smalltown? Meh. The booze has sapped what little funny is left in me. PEACE.
Upside is, there is a lot of people, hence there is lot of crap, but relatively also more interesting conversations. The ass end of the gaming community, perhaps.
The truth is whatever you want it to be. You can't discuss facts, nor can you argue factually about which 'art' is better. So once more it will be up to personal preference as it was between PS2 and Xbox this generation. Power is useless when it's not used. Technically impressive games are useless if they don't look pretty to you art-wise. Hence the whole argument on power and the likes is once again, as it always has been, moot.D.Cowboys said:Just like someone said earlier, the truth is somewhere in between.
There will be two consoles, both with arguably great games in time. Some people will prefer one, some the other. The world goes round, all is as it was before. No one learns anything, conflict rules the mind of men. Or, perchance. people realize it doesn't the hell matter and just want to play good games without slamming one or the other.
You don't prefer one neighbour to the other because he can push more weights if both are willing to lend their lawnmower to you, or whatever bizarre analogy you can think up for that.
