Well the Episode III line at the Grauman's Chinese Theater has started in Hollywood, and it looks like Attack of the Show! and G4 thought it'd be a great chance to mock those losers lining up over a month in advance. So they called the pay phone at the Grauman's and got owned live on TV. :lol

See, they didn't realise that the line is there earning money for charity (they raised over $20,000 at each of the Episode I and II lines and they are 25% of the way there already with the Episode III line). The line started Saturday at 2pm and they already have $6229 in donations for the Starlight Starbright Children's Foundation.

And yes, a GAF show would be deluxe. It'd be random geeks and fanboys yelling at each other for 20 minutes at a time. Then 30 seconds of interesting OT conversation between mostly coherent people. Then cut to monkeys with Tshirts bearing the names of forum uber-posters throwing feces at each other. I know I'd watch it.

i dunno, i used to be a huge G4 hater, but i realized recently its all we got, you cant expect spikeTV to take gaming seriously ever but atleast G4 does have one or two people who are seriously fans of gaming. They will never cater to us mega nerds if we dont watch, the execs arent gonna stand up one day and be like "WE HAVE BEEN IGNORING THE INTERNET NERDS!"

The fact of the matter is, I have never seen his show. What I have seen, however, is the shitty channel he works for. THAT, sp0rsk, is what I commented on.

G4 is a joke. This guy is on G4, on a show that sounds like something I'd never watch, as it doesn't appeal to me.

Um.. how about "NO". I've seen his rantings and responses. It does nothing but make him look like MORE of an ass. His junior high level vocabulary isn't an act as we all hoped. He's a public figure, get used to criticism.

"Attack of the Show" (whata dumb fucking title), is among the least of their problems. It's a shame too, the network has a potential to actually tap into the gamer culture and help it's hand to make it mainstream.

What do we get? Sophmoric toilet humor, quality shows that get their cast all fired and then renamed.

Make no mistake, I'd love them succeed and make a network that a gamer would actually want to watch. What we get is one that perpetuates the childish sterotype and possibly taking a few steps back int he perception of gamers being dorks and geeks and the like.

There's a ton of problems at G4. Namely them swallowing Tech TV and pissing all over it's lifeless corpse.
