Thats a weird movie to reference in this respect because Steve Buscemi's character in that movie is coded as a child molesterer and murderer and yet at the end it is presented as a fun thing that he is free.

He's definitely a murderer(drove through 3 states wearing her head as a hat) but I don't think it's implied he's a kiddy fiddler. It's more the movie shows the little girl "fixing" him. They want you to think he's going to kill the girl but as cyrus hates rapists I think his character would have just killed anyone that was a paedophile.
