So to start again as a favor to marinefish:
Last month about 7 stores started selling more vita than usual. Usually they kind of sit there, but I am assuming it increased a bit.
In 18 stores Xbox ones usually have been selling well. A few stores sold out and got new shipments. Usually 3 Xbox ones were seen in a store often. In front of one store 3 people were in N, F, and L costumes waving Xbox signs and a lot of people were leaving with Xbox ones. Forza and Madden looked to be the most though on shelves.
2 stores of the 20 scenes out by the last week, decent sales but plenty of stock for pretty much all systems.
Ps4s were selling to, but not as much. Probably due to Destiny wait.

Yeah I have another tab open for Twitter with a search for "NPD" and there's like nothing there. Usually there's a storm of tweets about it around now but for some reason tonight there's next to nothing. It's eerily and strangely quiet tonight. Maybe people are more pumped and excited for the September NPD?

Destiny Hype and I think people just know to expect more of the same this month. I don't think the changes will be huge.
Next month will be something to keep an eye on.

The war started last November, it never stopped. Sony will take September easy though, so there's really no point in saying that. The holidays are a little more of a mystery. We don't know what kind of bundles or promotions might be offered.
No they specifically said they don't care. Only care about the holidays. This is preseason, holidays is the playoffs. Where's the regular season? Who knows!?

Why would it begin in September? September will include several months of Destiny bundles, plus the standard sku, plus whatever boost the console gets from the game which is advertised for PlayStation.

Issue is PS4 hype is dead. It took an extra month to reach 10 million while Xbox has train physics, so PS4 sales are dead and Wii U will easily pass it. If Sony just gave the Vita more Barbie games it may have pregnated the 3DS and we would have more orange juice, but now that Tony is hospitalized all the cereal is gone and all we can eat is low diet pudding.
