yes, I'm enjoying that for what it was and hoping they're just coming in to put over the new tag teams essentially. Feed them those lucha and matador fucks and have em job out to PTP and New Day

They yelled at the PTP that they are back. Did you miss it?
If I had to guess it'll be a limited part-time run to put some new talent over. They'll probably get one more short run (like the Outlaws a year or 2 ago) before dropping it to a young team.

I see it as them making the tag division stronger. It was great at one point than fell apart.

Agreed. Only so many times TND/PTP can wrestle each other or the LDS/LMS. Team 3d gives the tag division a heavy that everyone knows and wants to see.
