This is quietly one of the best cars in AutoGAF.
I just sold my stickshift '07 335i. A great weight has been lifted from my shoulders. Driving it was a blast though....
Does anyone have thoughts on the new X1?
So guys, if you had a 30k euro budget what car would you buy to track? I found a 2014 Camaro SS 1LE for 26k euros only 15k kilometers.

You can remove some seats and padding here and there and drop the weight otherwise the car is a great performer. Some track pads, steel brake lines and better brake fluid to take care of the brakes not fading as much would do well. KW or something else for suspension and that's it. Maybe put wider wheels and tires, some aero bits to help with downfore and it's a winner.
Edit: And remove the horrible mods the previews owner put
First time I saw the Panamera do that I thought it was the coolest thing ever. It's so nice to see it.Not bad, but I like the new Panamera's spoiler deployment better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hvp8fi1GXqU
Always wanted a 240 but I couldn't find one close to me that hadn't been modified. Nice cars everybody ^_^

Thought you were talking bout a Volvo 240, not the Nissan...Always wanted a 240 but I couldn't find one close to me that hadn't been modified. Nice cars everybody ^_^
How's the E92 M3? Should I look into adding one to my stable? Finally sold my B5 S4 today. Thinking about snagging a 335i/135i as a daily beater but not sure if there's anything else I should look at.
Not a bad choice. For a track car, I'd like to try something small and lightweight like a Miata or one of the 86 twins. Cheaper running costs too I'd imagine.
Almost all were made into Drift cars and abused to hell by the owner. Didn't want to deal with that. I only found one that wasn't extensively modified but it was an automatic and I didn't want that. Back then I didn't think if tracking nor modifying other than some cosmetic mods.If you buy a modified one, some of the work is already done hopefully.
Though mine was a complete pile of garbage when I bought it. I knew it was going to be a track car, so I didn't want to ruin a car that was already nice.
My car's ass is in surgery right now...
that's a pink sock.

Oh, is that a bright yellow 944 I see next to it?
TLooks like progress! Are you going to be doing all the work yourself?
Nope! Just engine removal and ancillary disassembly. Once it gets down to the heads I'm going to turn it over to a professional for break down, head stud swap and rebuild. I'm sure I could do it, but the chances of me messing up the timing are too big (dial indicators are used on the cams fuuuuuck that) and for the long-term life of the engine it'll be better off in the hands of a professional. It has to look like this to replace the studs.
Ain't nobody got time for that. Plus I'm sure there will be plenty of things they'll notice that need repair/replaced that I wouldn't be aware of. The whole intake/fuel injection system I'll be going through myself though.
Disassembling is easy. Putting everythingg togeather so you wont be left with any extra parts, now thats trickyI see. Can't blame you there, I'd do the same thing. Props to you for taking it that far yourself
It's this part: http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/101_Projects_Porsche_911/15-Cam_Timing/15-Cam_Timing.htmDisassembling is easy. Putting everythingg togeather so you wont be left with any extra parts, now thats tricky
This is not meant to be a weekend-type project, but more of a knowledge base, so that you can be up to date when your mechanic talks about setting the cam timing on your newly rebuilt 911 motor.
What a coincidence. One of my old high school buddies works there.
It's actually where we got the X5. They had an M4 GTS when I was in for service a little while back. It was already sold. Customer just hadn't come to pick it up.
The detail shop that did all the work to my car also worked on 2 GTS recently. Even after all the shit those cars have gotten in reviews, I'd still like to take one out to see how it compares to the standard car.

That is both depressive and disgusting. I can only hope the sale numbers tell Ford to shove this refresh up whoever decided this was an upgrade's ass. GT350's are guaranteed an upgrade in value lolhttp://jalopnik.com/heres-the-sad-new-face-of-the-2018-ford-mustang-1791263140

If only they could figure out how to build a car that builds up boost by drifting. Also, to contribute:
Idk why, but it looks like a Need for Speed camera angle and with the lighting to match.
You do realize the GT350 will also get this facelift.
They don't share bumpers with Mustangs, their fronts are completely different. They most likely won't get any facelifts.

My ass is too dirty to take a picture of

Idk about the other guy, but mine is "its been fluctuating below and over freezing" dirty. The color does a real good job hiding it thoughWhat kind of dirty are we talking about?
Real filthy mess or the fun kind of dirty?
If it's the second one, I'm sure we won't mind haha.
