Predicts the worst decade for Sony starting 2022
The Switch 2 and Nintendo just keep giving me and other reasons to post our disgust with Nintendo as of late. Here is another!

Nintendo very sneaky is trying to make you waive your right to sue them in a very slick and disgusting way. This company is starting to make EA come off as Angel's. They are trying to protect their own ass from joycon drift and Any other legal issue.

I will let my man break it down on the issue. Lately Nintendo has been motherfuckers with suing everyone they can and now this

Nintendo…

These are solely Nintendo's actions as a corporation. Microsoft and Sony are not-for-profit organizations that utilize a commune of basket weavers as their legal teams. It's disgusting Nintendo seeks profit for these services. They should be a utility, like electricity and water.

All companies have these arbitration agreements written into Eula's. But I have never seen them hold up.

I'm more upset about Amazon not giving refund for Overnight shipping when it's delayed by severe weather. The argument is weather is beyond there control. Which is true, it's also true that I can't control myself when I have my bank deduct the cost of the overnight shipment from the charge. :messenger_beaming:

You are 100% the new DavidB or whatever his name was. The guy who had $4K in credit card debt and kept buying a gaming PC only to decide that PC gaming sucks like 10x. I miss him though because his threads were funny at least.

It is sad that Nintendo is no longer the customer friendly gaming giant that they used to be. I do hope fellow Nintendo fans stand up to Nintendo and show them that going down the anti customer path is not a wise idea as they could end up turning fans away with their attitude.

OP, I'm not clicking on that video. Give us a summary or something, don't expect others to watch whatever shit you want.

Never understood why he got a PC when he already has the PS12345.

This applies to practically every single service you use (with the exception of steam). The saddest thing is that people are only noticing this because of grifters trying to harvest clicks in the run up to the Switch 2 launch.
You have agreed to this if you have a playstation, an xbox, use epic, a cellphone, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+, a smart TV, windows, Google, Apple, iphone, galaxy phone, purchased tickets, taken a flight, bought a car etc, etc.
99% of every ToS you have accepted since the supreme court decision to allow binding arbitration includes this clause and you have happily clicked or initailed accept again and again.

I get it, what Nintedo is doing is shitty for the whole industry.

But...

Can you please make a "Gamer79 vs Nintendo" thread and update it with these insights. Keep it in one place.

Or at least save it up for a (bi)weekly thread where you put a bit more effort instead of leaning on youtubers to make your point for you.

I was starting to get nervous I'd have to go to bed without my bad Switch 2 news of the day.

Playstation can brick your PS5 without warning in the same way. Bet MS have the same legal verbiage.
FWIW chatgpt says MS can also do it:

Microsoft can render an Xbox console completely unusable, even offline, by pushing a firmware-level block or security update that prevents it from booting or functioning normally. This is not common, but technically and legally possible under certain conditions.
And when I asked if they need to give warning:

No, Microsoft is not required to give you a warning before banning or disabling your Xbox console or account — and often, they don't.

Why?

When you agree to the Xbox Terms of Service and Code of Conduct, you're accepting that Microsoft has the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban your access without notice if they determine you've violated their rules.

I'd love to see more threads with text from users rather than just something from YouTube.

Big shocker, all major companies are assholes, lmao. I wouldn't be surprised if Sony and Microsoft have something similar. How many people will actually be affected by this? Who knows?

This guy is still posting videos of himself just reading gaming news and getting youtube revenue?
That's basically what majority of YouTube gaming content is these days. Grifting, "news", etc. It's all involves just regurgitating content and making revenue in most cases, lol.

who gives a fuck dude how many of us are gonna sue Nintendo

what is wrong with u. these low effort threads suck at least post a summary.
Millions are going to want in on a class action when their fucking joysticks drift again because they were too cheap to put hall effect sticks in their fucking 90 dollar controllers.

My most recent class action award which came from Shudder illegally disclosing my personal information was a one week free trial to AMC+.

None of the first party companies use hall effect joysticks. Not even in their $200 premium controllers.
