Bah!! PDA heads!! (regarding Dell Axim X50v/X5)

Ok so I'm getting an X50v *caged gorilla*, but given the considerable cost I'm looking to trim the fat where I can. So I've found a site loaded with cheap acessories for the the Axim X3/X3i/X30 series as well as the Axim X5, which I'm assuming is the predecessor to the X50 (and it's pimped out VGA cousin..you know..the one I'm getting, the X50v *flying sperm*).

Now given their shared heritage, does that mean that the USB cable, car charger, USB to AC adapter, battery etc that the site is selling for the X5 will work with the X50v?

I'd really like to duck Dell's premium pricing for their doohickeys, but they obviously have to work in order to make the savings worth it. Anyone vouch for their compatibility?

I think the X50 is slimmer than the X5 also its pad is lower so I’m not sure how it would fit in the cradle. I also thought that another company manufactured Dell's new pocketPCs. I don’t think there would be any compatibility in the accessories.

Bump! Hey did you get this PDA? Im thinking of upgrading from a X5. I wanted to get your impressions.

Woo unknay got it this morning (Tuesday, that is)!!! Prepared to post impressions for those interested. I'm currently browsing for cool downloads etc, so any recommendations for software etc (I want Flash player so I can show all my boys "Big Ass Titties" since the site is down) are welcomed.

My only disappointment so far is that the fat daddy battery I ordered is so thick that it negates the ability of the PDA to fit into the expensive ass Rhino Skin case I ordered for it. Shitty catch-22. I've piddled with the free 3D software a bit (some stunt racing game), and I'd say it most closely resembles a high-res PS-One in action. I'm so eager to do everything though that I haven't given much of anything a legitimate sit down. My initial impressions are absolute elation though for the most part. Early X-Mas indeed.
