Bank of America sued WallStreetBets mod and Reddit Inc

godhandiscen

There are millions of whiny 5-year olds on Earth, and I AM THEIR KING.
It's only a post in the sub reddit and more details are to come, but the theory is that they are suing the mods for market manipulation. AKA, BofA must be on the losing end of a GME/AMC trade.

edit: seems to be fake.

Your Honour, we'd like to refer to exhibit 26 which is a post on the website made by 'skeet420x69x'

Counsel, I fail to see relevance of a video showing a cartoon character retreating into a hedgerow

I think it's a joke. There's a mod post saying something about not believing everything you read and to take everything with a grain of salt, etc.

Yeah I think it is a joke. When I posted the thread it was posted by mods and now it doesn't say that. I guess i fell for it.

If it is a real lawsuit it can really hurt the WSB mods, as in the US the winner does not get its lawyer fees reimbursed.

lmao the audacity of the big players in the financial world has no bounds.

Imagine the total state of the financial world when the banks and hedge funds moving trillions by cheating, lobbying and frauding, failing to deliver and getting bailouts from the taxpayers and then they have to go against small retail investors that buy stocks they like. lmao. can't even make this shit up

Very much interested to see what comes of this.

I will say, while I support the efforts of day traders who are using WSB to fuck with short sellers and big banks, I am a bit concerned about people who just see it as a form of gambling. I literally just sat in an Uber ride the other day having a conversation with the driver about how he's buying meme stocks and crypto. I told him just to buy stocks long-term to build wealth, and he goes "I have no patience". Bro, just go a casino if you're gonna do that shit. /rant
