Major Reddit Forums Ban X Links

The purple forum's thread on the subject includes a pledge in the title to ban Twitter there as well down the road :messenger_tears_of_joy:

It's always the same tired cancelation playbook with these people but I think normies are done with it at this point.
Yes, keep chasing away your remaining normies. They’ll need a guidebook on how to post there.

I'm curious about Reddit for someone who barely uses it.

Most people are not crazy progressive. Most people are normies with normal beliefs and not extreme. Why does it seem like so many sub reddits are moderated by loony progressives and have so many in the userbase? Is the site run by people with those views so it reflects on who are chosen as mods? Is it just a site people with those views have decided to flock to? You'd think a site that big, they'd be the outliers and most users would tell people who say crazy shit to STFU, but there is seems like it's the norm, not the outlier.

Why is that? Anyone know?

Big globalist superpacs had an impact on that site. There’s a rabbit hole one can go down from Epstein’s Maxwell to ActBlue, Blackrock, WEF players, etc..

Because most people are not posting on Reddit. Normies in general rarely engage into debates online. They can create a thread or two, leave a couple of comments at that's it. And the whole format of Reddit is just not normie friendly

The CEO of Reddit is some left wing loon too.

Dumb and anti free speech.

Reddit is a left leaning cesspool.

I only use it for the discussed groups on tech and things that are pertinent to me.

Pretty strongly anti censorship but there is a caveat. When those who advocated for aggressive censorship end up being the ones that get censored I won't spare any sympathy.

Because this is always the danger:

too much conspiracy...

i'm not happy about the current state of things at reddit, but it used to be a site with actual nazi and racist subreddits (not eeh the palm might be too extended and the fingter s alittle too together) but actual subs called coontown, stormfront, etc... and for the record the few conservative subreddits are equally ideologically controlled, i'm talking just propaganda shit

That's what happens when power is handed over to the people.... oh wait, the U.S. Constitution!! No wonder America is declining! Lunatics are running the asylum!

Twitter links were already banned from a ton of subreddits since you needed an account to view content. Any post, the number one comment was usually a screen capture.

That's still the case now with screen captures replacing any twitter links making it far more accessible. A win/win.
