This ranks as one of the best endings for me that's for sure.

I like kalas taunts before a magic spell. This is my fav, something like this:

Jesus, I just faced two of the toughest boss battles in an RPG so far (of course, that may say I'm not as good as I thought I was). Other than that, this game has really picked up some steam, which was what I was hearing would happen once I reached disc 2.

The first battle with those freaks Giacomo, Ayme and Folon was difficult, but not frustrating, I think it depended more on the strength of your decks. The second battle with that freak Geldoblame was more frustrating because of his ability to kill you with "forfeit your life", and I lucked out eventually when he chose not to use it every turn.

Bought the game today and so far so good, very good looking and the music has been awesome so far, the song in the forest is really cool imo, so calm Im only at the beginning but the battle system shows some promises, the combo and card +%, the elements and all that, really cool.

I still had SMT3 to play but i gave up on that, spent roughly 20 hours in it and it was just frustratingly hard and no motivation story wise to continue.

Dont give up on the story though, it will seem pretty cut and paste through the first disk (which is not as long as disc 2), then once you change disks, things will really pick up fast.

going back to the castle and doing the Knights of Whatever versus the Imperial soldiers perfectly (I thought a few soldiers were red when they were black -- dang my eyes @ 2 am!). I lost one battle and I think that was where I would have received the Light Aura card. Now I'm doing that part where you have to chase Mizuti through the Trail of Souls....ARGH @ the slowness of the Mindeer!

Get rid of Folon first, then Giacomo, then finally Ayme but not before taking a snapshot of her. That worked for me on a second try.

Working on the character-specific sidequests to get their specialized cards and attacks. I've done Lyude, Mizuti, Savyna and Gibarri's quests and everyone but Xelha has Class 6.

What am I missing here?

I actually did it in order of Folon, Ayme and then Giacomo, I saved Giacomo last because once you get him down to half health, he pulls out some killer moves against you.

Well, no problem, I think you have to be in Anuenue anyway in order to begin the final events.

I stopped playing BK when RE4 came out and I had just finished Gibari's quest, so now I probably should go back and finish the game.
