Bath Bro here. I love the bath and it is very relaxing. 🛁

I somehow find even clean showers dirty and not very enjoyable.
But bath is relaxing for me and if the water gets a bit dirty, I have no problems with it and would not shower before bathing to get the water cleaner because it is very ridiculous.

Which way of self-cleaning do you prefer?

Sitting in a tub of your own filth is disgusting. Apparently Americans take 5.9 showers a week!? What in the actual fuck? I Shower twice a day every day and in the summer 3 times a day.

Shower seems like the correct answer.

But we might be doing it wrong since celebs like taking baths......

...... and drowning. Let's stick to showers.

Yeah the whole idea of soaking in fecal matter from your own ass isn't relaxing. That's the 2nd body part that touches that water after your feet.

Running water has always been cleaner. Shower vs basically sitting in a pond of your own filth.

Do you think the fecal matter from your ass that you wiped suddenly vanishes into thin air when you dip your dirty ass into the water? Nope, remember that and wipe your face with it.

Running water has always been cleaner. River, stream, etc vs basically sitting in a pond of your filth. A shower is the modern equivalent of a clean stream. Keep your filth moving away from you.

I do the same. Once in the morning before work, once when I get home (right before dinner). And then one more before bed if I went somewhere in the evening and got home gross.

For people who only shower once per day, I wonder if they do it in the morning or at night. If they do it before work, then rest of day/bedtime is getting grimey. If they do it at night, then they'll be unwashed all morning and day at work or school.

Most people don’t have bathtub worth bathing in.
Holy crap, THIS. One of the things I love about Japan is having a bathtub I can be submerged in. As a 6 foot tall dude in the US, baths freakin suck. If you are taller than a medium sized child there is no way you will have all body parts under water at the same time in a standard bath tub.

On Seinfeld they described taking a bath better than any I have seen - sitting in a tepid pool of your own filth.
But this is where Japan has it down. You shower before you get in the bath and their baths are temperature regulated. None of this, get in and the water is 40 degrees in 5 minutes. The water stays a nice hot temp until you get out.

Step 1 Take bath to relax
Step 2 Take shower to wash off all the bath water
See GAF, it wasn’t that hard. Literally just two steps you had to do in reverse order.

I just took a bath yesterday. I only do it every few months because it takes so much water, but nothing beats immersing yourself in a hot tub when you’re just done gardening or some other activity like that.

Of course, for everyday cleaning, a shower is quicker and more eco-friendly.
