I saw the movie sathurday with friends and it was very good but I was wondering about something. Are they gonna restart the batman franchise and go on with the joker and all over again or they will still make batman begins type of movies?

If they don't restart it's kind of dumb seeing as in Batman it's the Joker who kills Bruce's parents, not just some schmuck like in Begins.

Batman Begins is intended to be a restart for the series, and previous films will not have a bearing on any subsequent films.

Through yesterday: Domestic: $145,601,000 56.1% + Overseas: $114,000,000 43.9% = Worldwide: $259,601,000

Sequel was "confirmed" after the first weekend of release. But I'm sure WB is breathing easier since then. BB has had some decent legs.

ummmm ya....as RevenantKioku stated, the movie actually followed the comic books, where some schmuck does murder his parents. The original Batman film in 89 or whatever used JOker to kill the Wayne's only for convenience sake...more or less.
