DC comics broke the internet this week via a revelation from one of the showrunners of the HBO Max Harley Quinn show revealed that DC comics killed a scene in the show where Batman was going down on Catwoman:

“A perfect example of that is in this third season of ‘Harley’ [when] we had a moment where Batman was going down on Catwoman. And DC was like, ‘You can’t do that. You absolutely cannot do that.’ They’re like, ‘Heroes don’t do that.’ So, we said, ‘Are you saying heroes are just selfish lovers?’ They were like, ‘No, it’s that we sell consumer toys for heroes. It’s hard to sell a toy if Batman is also going down on someone.’”

(btw the show isn't that great. It's basically Penny from Big Bang Theory playing Harley and saying "fuck" a lot)

Have you seen the HQ show? A child shouldn't be allowed within 100 feet of a tv showing it!

Batman playing the slots is the least offensive thing about it.. if anything, the show could use WAY MORE sex to balance out the profanity and violence.

I have seen the show and it all falls within the boundaries of exploring a villain charachter such as all the joker mini series in the comics which none were ever intended for children.

Pretty much all the villain lines in and from comics are adult focused, and the hero lines children focused.

It's a clear line in the sand I don't comprehend how it's not visible to anyone with half a brain based in reality.
