I'm pretty excited for Suicide Squad. I actually find it to be the most intriguing comic film on the horizon. It's the only one that feels like a truly unknown entity.

I agree. I'd much rather see an aged Batman solo flick in this universe than BVS at this juncture. Like, I'd rather see a solo follow up, with BVS following that up.

It's Batman pulling out every trick he has, every contingency, going for whatever cheap shot he can get in so that he can stand a ghost of a chance against a guy who doesn't even want to fight him. Whether it be super powerful armor, kryptonite, or having Wonder Woman back him up,

You're not even sticking to the same continuity. The Batman of MoS's universe might have never fought Bane, or if he has this Bane might have had Venom that made him nearly as strong as Supes. Also, keep in mind that once Bane manhandled Batman, Batman got better and manhandled him back.
But most obviously, you're assuming that Batman is going to make this a fair fight in the first place, or that Superman will pull out all the stops, or any hundreds of reasons that could potentially result in Superman losing.
It amazes me how often people forget that fiction does not play by the same rules as reality. I could potentially write a story where a 12 year old blind girl kicks the ass of Myke Tyson in his prime up and down the street. I could write a story where a nigh omnipotent God is legitimately defeated by an ordinary squirrel. Power only carries you so far. In fact, if anything, the more outwardly powerful force usually loses to the underdog. David beats Goliath. Knights slay the dragon. The timid Hobbit is the reason Sauron falls. Luke is was an ordinary kid that managed to take down the death star, and later the empire. Harry Potter is a slightly above average wizard at best that takes down Magic Snake Hitler with ordinary spells. I could go on and on. It's a story that's been told since the beginning of time.

The real thing that makes Superman OP in this scenario is his super speed. If Batman has a counter to that, Superman's strength has been nerfed enough that it's more plausible than people realize.
Superman struggled with an oil derrick in Man of Steel. He's struggling holding a rocket in the BvS trailer. This isn't the Superman that can punch planets to death or lift islands.
Warner Bros would never character assassinate Batman by making him go "cruel" or whatever.

I've always liked the 2 Keaton suits but BvS is definitely the best. Thing is beautiful.
I never had any love for the Begins one but I remember being really excited when they revealed the first picture of the TDK suit. The reception to that one was very mixed from what I recall. I thought it was great but it probably had something to do with the hype I had for TDK (which was insurmountable), though the suit looks terrible when photographed at certain angles. And I hate the bulb head.
