Calidor said:shit! i'm at the beach level too, i keep losing when i should defend the anti-air support, i don't know what to do, I usually pick some soldiers and hide'em on the bunkers and keep the rest defending near the flag, but after a few minutes i fail the mission.
Well, at least the beach level is the must fun so far.
Ironclad_Ninja said:I'm about 12 missions in so far, including the bonus mission. The game is very intuitive and it plays very well. THe different vehicles all have their own distinct physics and they control well. Very fun game and comanding your units is very easy. It's also a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. Make one wrong command and there goes batallion. Very fun game.
i was one of its biggest detractors when it first showed up.Suburban Cowboy said:i remember when this game was first revealed at e3 (two years ago?) and people were saying that it sucked and how disappointed they were with it.
it is definitely great to see the developer was able to pull things together like this
It's nice to see that you didn't even bother playing it before you started hating on Nintendo and Kuju's work on the game. :loltt_deeb said:I bought it. Looked at the back. 1 player. WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK! FUCK YOU NINTENDO!

Heh, I know you're exaggerating, but these really were the reasons why people were selling the game short. It had nothing to do with the quality or idea of the game.Scrow said:"omg not turn based! omg not made by intelligent systems! omg kuju sucks, they haven't made any good games!"
No. Give the money to me.Akia said:I got 50 bucks laying around. Should I pick this up?

Not for $50. You could buy my mint copy for $42 as listed in the official buy/trade thread.Akia said:I got 50 bucks laying around. Should I pick this up?

It's completely up to you, but I would just like to say that the game gets much better in a few missions. It gets a lot more complex and the game becomes quite unforgiving. You have to command multiple troops and position them intelligently for getting past the mission in the best manner. Also, you start getting the fun vehichles like Heavy Tanks, Heavy Recons, Artillery and Bombers. I would give it several more missions before you decide to sell it, but like I said, it is completely up to you.AniHawk said:Ironclad: 4 missions in. Probably going to sell the thing in about 2 hours.
