My only real wish/desired change from BB is a few less ballads and more guitar heavy. BB was their least guitar-oriented album yet in a lot of ways, which saddened me.

Just imagine if Smile Like You Mean It, Read My Mind, Space Man and Flesh And Bone were all on the same album

My mind is exploding from the awesomeness. Just nonstop explosioning. I think those are my favorite songs off those albums, too.

They're playing in my country this month. On the 29th.

And I'm not going. Great.

With Lollapalooza, a possible new album and a show at the Wembley Stadium, this could be a memorable year for them.

edit: the wembley concert is on my birthday, ffs, I need to go.

Spaceman is definitely my favorite off that album. I'd probably go with Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine from Hot Fuss, When You Were Young from Sam's Town, and Runaways from Battle Born if I were choosing all favorites though.

I'm not an NPC. And neither are we.
I have tickets for when they come over here, but they are terrible seats. That's what I get for waking up 30 minutes after they go on sale I suppose.

Link some of these live versions, yo.

For me it's probably Mr. Brightside (close call between it and Smile Like You Mean It), Read My Mind (super close call between it and When You Were Young), Spaceman, and Flesh & Bone (close call between it and the remix.)

They also played (from the top of my head):

Runaways, The Way It Was, From Here on Out, Spaceman, This is Your Life, Smile Like you Mean It, Somebody Told Me, Read My Mind, For Reasons Unknown, Human, Miss Atomic Bomb.

I've been experiencing a strange phenomena ever since I first listened to Battle Born - every time I hear or read a phrase or group of words (whether it be in a movie, on a message board, or irl) that are also lyrics to a Killers song, I immediately hear that Killers song play in my head. For instance, whenever I read or hear someone say "a matter of time", 'A Matter of Time' starts playing in my head. Does this happen to anyone else?

It happens to me a lot. Especially with the The World We Live In, The Way It Was, Losing Touch, and Battle Born. When someone talks about the desert, driving in a car or Las Vegas (Sam's Town, Flamingo), it immediately reminds me of the Killers too.

I'm not an NPC. And neither are we.
Saw them last night in Dallas, they were amazing. We weren't able to get very good seats, but we snagged some like 20 feet from the stage between All These Things That I've Done and the encore, when others were leaving, amateurs. There was a funny moment in Here With Me, no one really knew it or got into it, and Brandon asked us if we were really polite or if we didn't know it, that made me laugh. There were some technical difficulties during some of the songs, and at one point the audience just carried the song until Brandon's mic picked back up and he just joined us where we were in the song. Amazing. Loved them.
