I imagine DICE has actual numbers on how many times defenders won over the attackers. I also imagine that it was insanely biased toward defenders.
 
Yeah 50 extra tickets for 40p. It was super easy as attackers if they were competent, and super easy for the defenders if they were competent. I fear it will steer it a bit too much for the attackers with the extra tickets on certain Ops, like kaiserslacht and ballroom/argonne one.

Was thinking exactly this.

Kaiserslacht is already the hardest to both attack and defend followed closely by Ballroom/Argonne.

God Tier UKps4Gaf's only losses (26 wins ago) were on Argonne and Kaiserslacht attacking...

If the rumours are right and Giants Shadow is a third map for Kaiser we are all fucked....

Well..... the game looks worse on the PS4 Pro since 1.04. Jaggy shimmer is now present and a softer image all round.

The frames don't feel as smooth neither.

Because of the NDA / paid deal they have, they wouldn't comment on Pro improvements to begin with so it's difficult to judge properly.
Lol. When they have implemented the TAA for the console versions they may have accidentally overwritten the Pro mode flag and so the game is launching in Base PS4 mode.

Let's not pretend Operations didn't heavily favor the defenders, though. You and your group destroying other teams regardless doesn't mean anything.

Yea I even posted how operations favored attackers, big time. Defenders got nothin, plus even when clearing a sector they show exactly where defenders are with little bubbles lol

Anyone who thinks it favored defenders didn't play any operations :p

Attackers have a bunch of hurdles they need to get over to come close to winning a match. Especially if the operation has three maps in it. Sure, if you have a competent team you can win both sides no problem, but with two equally skilled teams I think it's not too crazy to say that the defenders will win most of the time. You can slowly whittle down their life pool pretty easily.

Yeah you aren't wrong. Once again at least the train can have the turrets taken out and is prone to mines/dynamite.

The dreadnought is the worst of all three....

Another annoying thing about Zeppelin is it can cap objectives.... with that going up quicker now it's going to be a cheat mode basically.

You get tanks and planes as defenders too. Maybe not on the first stage but I regularly take an AA truck if the enemy get a blimp after losing an attack. I did at least half the damage in one truck when we downed a blimp last night.

I try to avoid using planes where possible, rear gunners have likened me to Launchpad McQuck, but I'll take a fighter or bomber if they have a behemoth.

And if we don't have our own tanks, it's not unheard of to hijack an enemy tank and repair it.

People shout for nerfs but they need to remember, teamwork isn't cheating.

The only saving grace is they go down as easy as shit and if you snipe the gunners it's pretty much useless.

Good to know, Im not a dedicated sniper but have my moments of brilliance with sniping, I'll have to try it. I typically just focused on ground combat, never stopped to think I could switch over and snipe some gunners

All true. Nothing better than hearing people notify my boy nitro of an empty tank so he can run over and nick it.

So did they just increase the reload time for the Martini? No damage decrease or anything?

part of me thinks they run on a DPS type scale.... so they'd see this as a positive balance
 
I'm hoping this AA nerd didn't make he AA guns useless. They SHOULD be powerful against planes.

Last night I was taking out planes in one fly-by using the AA and before it got destroyed I could take a blimp down to 2/3 health.

You are absolutely correct - AA should be so effective against planes. That's why as an attacker I actively destroy the AA guns even if they aren't being used.... help our boys out a bit.

I can't imagine the nerf has made a massive difference. It'd be pointless.

That's interesting to know, I haven't done the campaign yet to know as the MP has had my nuts from day 1. But yea, I'm telling you...Flying these planes is one of the toughest things I have done in gaming. I don't know what it is, but I'm hilarious and useless in a plane all at the same time.

Oke. 64 Operations is decent. But the increase in tickets for 40 players is just to crazy.
40 matches were always pretty balanced. Won alot lost alot. Now they get a shit ton of extra tickets. And the matches are taking way to long also now. 200 is just way to much.
Btw Zeppelin seems to have less health now in Operations. Needs some more testing tho.
 
What Hell just happen?

I was playing on Pro, the download finished, restarted the game and boom....

It looks bland, and soft. Textures look blurry. What did you do Dice?

Patch notes said they didn't change the Behemoths' health, but made it so you see lower damage numbers now as well.

Prone soldiers can no longer be pushed by other friendly soldiers

So that's what was happening. A couple of times I was hiding from incoming fire only to be launched forward 10 feet right into a quick death. I thought someone on the other team used the force.

I wish it was just one area tbh.. I love operations but I think one main area would be perfect. I just feel like 2 whole sections is so damn long even tho I enjoy it, I do wish I could pound out one when time is short.

Although how does quitting work? Meaning if you blast out one main area and head out, does that all count the same?
