Supposedly there might be a demo on the 10th. Although memorial day would've been a great day to release a demo.

I'm REALLY hoping I can get adequate performance on my PC, I don't feel like now is the appropriate time to upgrade. I ran Doom 3 and BFV just fine, but after playing BFV, I doubt I'll get more than 10 fps. :(

minimum and recommended requirements

* CPU: Pentium 4- 1.7Ghz Recommended:2.0Ghz
* Minimum Ram512MB Recommended: 1GB
* HDD:2.3GB

Does that say it requires a 256MB video card?

My 2.6 mghz will need a new Video card. I dont think the 9800 will handle this one well.

Unless it's the 256MB one apparently (which I have).

People laughed when I go the 256MB XT saying I wasted my money because NO GAME WOULD EVER NEED THAT MUCH RAM. Hah.

Shit I'm minimum.... except for RAM
1 gig of RD
9800 pro

=(

I feel so.. inadequate..

How am I supposed to be a good pilot without the best graphics!? :lol

What? I have a P4 @ 2.4 GHz, 512 DDR Ram and a Radeon 9800 Pro. MY setup should be able to handle it at medium setting.

Your setup looks medium as well.

Does that say it requires a 256MB video card?
Video card: Above VRAM 256MB

Id be surprised if you couldn't run the game smoothly @ 1024x786 with Medium settings. Just knock down some of the shadow and shader effects and you'll be good to go. You probably wont be able to use AA but it'll still look damn good. The 9800pro is the vet among DX9 cards, it can still handle business.

Might want to try and overclock that ram though. ;)

I gots an a64 3500+, 1 gb ram, and a 6800 gt. Im still thinking this game will run like shit.

I saw this game on tv awhile ago and it was super choppy...

well, imo, if it wouldve been that heavy to run, ea wouldve waited an extra month untill the new cads are out... i could be wrong

if it does run like shit on my system ill just get an x360 and play it on that? cheaper then upgrading my gpu anyway :)

New cards in a month?

Uh oh
Maybe nows a good time to auction off the ol 6800gt

Awesome. I need something to break my WoW addiction.

Easy. Just remind yourself that you're having a false sense of accomplishment and that ultimately all your work will go down the drain when you cancel your service or when WoW goes offline in like 10-20 years.

What graphics card is reccomended to run Battlefield 2? I have a fairly new computer...512 MB RAM, 3.0 GHZ, Windows XP, and all that, but the graphics card is a...I want to say...Ah man I can't remember, but I need to upgrade it.

well i'm taking a look on rage3d forums now, and apperantly people who played it report it as "playing smoothly"
