Dude, BF2 totally has tons of inner city combat. BF2 has EVERYTHING.

Yes, it is. In one of the many GRAWTASTIC threads today were hands-on impressions with someone saying the game is quite slow and tactical, like the original GR.

Graphics are very nice. Not a complete patch over the pc version but its nicer looking. BF2MC lets you go from a desert combat area to a city area in less than a minute. Pretty good game. Should be the top online game on xbox easy.

Its a shame BF2MC doesnt get the hype because its multiplatform EA and there's a much superior pc Battlefield which always shadows this game. It still pisses over most games in the fun department(all console fps) and compared to GR its much arcadey with faster paced gameplay, not to mention its actually proven online.

I find it funny that people are shitting on Battlefield 2 for having only 24 players online when GRAW only has 16. :lol

Regardless, it's a bummer that EA hasn't been smarter about releasing more varied screenshots of BF2:MC. For some reason they have only been releasing pics from the darker levels in the game. The game actually has many outdoor levels in grassy and urban looking enviornments. Really beautiful stuff that I can't wait to see on the 360 version. I know about these levels because they were in the PS2 version and they looked wonderful on that hardware.

I challenge anyone to watch this trailer and tell me this game doesn't have varied locales and exciting looking gameplay.

I am as excited as anyone about GRAW. But, i'm also aware that it's been privy to a much better marketing campaign and therefore it seems to have it's fair share of fans already. It deserves everyone of those fans, but I think BF2:MC deserves it's fair share as well.

Mark my words, there are gonna be a lot of people on this board that are gonna buy BF2:MC and post things like "Holy shit, I had no idea this game was this good, particularly online!".

These screens definitely made me question a few things. Like if this wasn't really the next-gen, and GRAW was just some cruel joke. The textures look horrible.

I believe BF2 MC got pushed back to mid April now. EA backing off because of the GRAW hype? They don't want their Xbox port compared to next gen masterpiece head to head anymore.

i wanna get both, diff styles of play, and BF 2 looks like it could be alot of fun and i don't think it looks bad, but yeah it obviously can't hold up in a direct comparison with GRAW.

Modern Combat is its own game, and doesn't share anything with BF2 beside the BF name!
