Battlefield 6 Official Reveal Trailer

There's gameplaying kicking around, I posted some earlier. With all the destruction, I think it looks decent. Lets see what it looks like proper next week when they put their best foot forward.

Delta Force is UE5, it looks nice for sure but its nothing special for me personally.
The destruction is nice but the actual rendering is dated compared to UE5. It's firmly rooted in the PS4 generation.

Sorry we'll have to agree to disagree, its really is nothing special. Like I said BF6 looks nice enough. Let see what they bring next week, but ill bet 50p it looks better than the below. DF looks exactly like what it is. A cheap Chinese BF knock off.

The multiplayer uses UE4 and is designed to run on GTX 1050s.

When having discussions about graphics? Most people.
The original poster I replied to said this trailer looks really dated, I disagree. It looks just as good if not better than any other FPS on the market.

Does it look better than DF? Multiplayer absolutely does. Single player? Hard to say as i've not see the single player portion of BF6 yet.

When DF campaign already looks better than a pre-rendered trailer, I think it's safe to say the actual game will fare significantly worse.

I agree this fake trailer doesn't look dated, but it is certainly not as good/better than any other FPS. In addition to DF, you also have Stalker, Avatar, Indiana Jones, Cyberpunk etc. Was Outlaws first person? I can't remember but if so that also looks quite a bit better,

All those games are doing completely different things to what BF is doing though and only Stalker out of those is an FPS, with no MP.

I never said this game looks amazing btw. But I stand by what I said, it looks just as good and better than many FPS's on the market today (from what we have to go off).

Delta Force is a massive flop regardless.

Battlefield are our only hope, they have to get this right. And so far it looks like they're very close to doing so. All it needs is class restrictions, a server browser and a playable launch build and it will fly off the (mostly digital) shelves.

Flop? there are 120K players playing Delta Force right now.

Maybe flop was a poor choice of words, although being free to play helps with player numbers.

I'm talking about a culturally relevant new game to take the mantle from Call of Bundles. I have no intention of playing it and none of my friends have even heard of it.

It has highs of around 200k CCU a day and its not out on console yet. I'd say its doing more than ok.

When I watch this trailer and 2042's trailers I keep finding myself going back to this good old reddit comment.

If only DICE hadn't put these absolute buffoons in charge of BFV I honestly believe that game could've been one of the best Battlefields ever, it certainly has the gameplay mechanics to back it up, it's everything else that fucked it up unfortunately... Instead of actually fixing the bugs they were focusing on fighting over people being able to play as a regular combatant on WW2's Western Front, jesus fucking christ.

If they hadn't pushed this moronic narrative back then, yesterday's trailer could've featured a badass woman fighting in a modern setting and absolutely no one would mind (apart from terminally online incels but who gives a fuck about those?), instead, they fucked it up so bad for women that now every Battlefield trailer that EA releases only features super gruff dudes even if it's a modern setting where it would make complete sense. Right side of history, right?

Good fucking job...

I think the trailer looked awesome, and the story seems like it could be pretty cool. I'm really excited to see the multiplayer reveal. I played the alpha but it being an alpha it's not exactly representative of the final product.

It's definitely doing good but I'd be curious to see what regions those numbers mostly come from. I played like 20ish hours of it and it's fun but it's definitely a BF knock off in nearly every way. I don't know a single person that has ever played it let alone know it existed.

It doesn't discount it's successes but my guess is most of the player base is in China similar to how while Blackmyth Wukong still sold well the majority of numbers came from China.

Why would a modern setting suddenly make complete sense for women to be in front line infantry combat? Nothing has changed. Women make up a fraction of a percent of combat soldiers worldwide.

Wah?

People only partially expect it in CoD because that series is already so far removed from reality. However if you're going for an actual realistic setting then yeah, having every other soldier or whatever be a women would be kind of retarded yes.

Coming up to its daily highs right now so its safe to safe a big chunk of its player base is in China (10pm Beijing time as of this post). Still pretty good. Game is ok but full of cheaters in my experience and (like you said) is exactly what it looks like, a Chinese Battlefield/DMZ Knockoff.

Why are we comparing Delta Force to this? That game feels like a typical cheap Korean knockoff compared to the BF series. It was fun for a few days

I put like 24 hours into Delta Force and the game really isn't anything to write home about. Not sure why it is so prevalent in conversation. Also with the track record that Dice has, I doubt we have to be concerned about graphics. Even with the disappointment that 2042 was(graphically and gameplay) it still ended up being very strong visually even if it fell short of its predecessors in some ways.

UI looks decent, but asking for a decent UI after that disaster Battlefield 2042 ...

Looks super dated apparently.

They should either put a new engine or redoing their engine just like Modern Warfare reboot did.
Looks good, but is showing his age pretty quick.

I think that MP video looks great. Lots going on, destruction etc, from an older build also.

How would you say its showing its age?

I played more BF3 than I should, and the way the tree looks, the buildings, is visually similar, more pretty no denying, but still similar. Is frostbite alright.

At the least in the trailer. I'll sure give this game a try on my 'base PS5', so I expect the worst.

Gotcha.

Delta Force was fun for a few weeks but its not remotely comparable to BF6. I don't even think its good enough to be compared against 2042.
