I love all the people in this thread bashing the game and posting obnoxious "reaction images" to the trailer. While you're bashing the game I'll be playing and laughing my ass off. I LOVED the second beta.
I can see both BF4 and Hardline having good communities regardless of how negative a lot of folk seem to be about Hardline.
These post are really getting old.

You can't, EA Access only lets you play the prologue and first chapter of the story.

Pre-loaded and only 2 days to go....can't fucking wait. Had a blast playing both betas.
Can't wait for Thursday, that EA Access 720 master race.
Ah yes, forgot about that! Well I'll dabble in the MP for 10 hrs and then return to Ori/BF4/Halo multiplayer, nothing about Hardline is really screaming "buy me" at this point, especially when BF4 is still thriving.
The CTE is still pumping out great BF4 fixes and the night maps are coming soon, with a huge balance pass on the weapons. There's nothing interesting enough about Hardline to make the switch worthwhile.

I'm really looking forward to this. Just trying to decide PS4 or PC. I'm thinking this will have a more active community on PS4 (considering BF4 did) which is the only reason that version is in the running. But that's a pretty big reason to consider it. Hmmm...
Being a console player I'm unfortunately out of the loop on the CTE. When you say night maps do you mean night versions of all of the base maps? Interested to hear more about that.

I'd play CTE exclusively if there were a constant playerbase, but it's pretty sparse unless you're playing during a scheduled time.

But there is nothing for me to keep me playing BF4 also. Night maps sure. Fun for a moment. Balance patches. Uhh no. Played 600 hours of it. Had a great time. Little rough in the beginning but great after that. Just burned out of the game. Did all the assigments and phantom programs. Got alot of mastery dogtags. It just time for something fresh. Trying new maps, gamemodes, new mechanics, tactics and new guns. Dont see myself playing BF4 still for 6 months or longer. To bad alot off people dont understand that

Mortars, ucavs up the wazoo.
I know because I abuse them. So glad Hardline is going back to a strict policy on class based weapons. Hopefully BF5 does the same.

First game I've looked forward to in a long time. Played 40 hours of Hotwire during beta, never got old to cruise around in a car with my friends blowing shit up. It is the simple things in life.

Ha, nice - but I feel the same way after almost 95% of trailers that I watch. Only a few have really grabbed me, and made me click on the rewatch button. Halo 3, Gears 2, and RE6 were amazing trailers for me. But for the most part, an overall "meh" on most trailers. Maybe I am not easily impressed?

I think the campaign looks interesting, I want to play the campaign. So like BF4 I will get it when it's $10 or so on a sale. I'm not interested in multiplayer for any of these games (COD is the other) anyway.

I do realise what battlefield 4 is to real life military conflict. But this Cops Vs Robbers angle goes way too far outside what my imagination is capable of.

Well, it's not a direct game in the Battlefield series by DICE, like a Battlefield 5 of sorts. It's a spinoff by another developer. So, it's a different take on the series. Sorry that it looks stupid to you, just might not be the game for you. I am personally looking forward to it, always up for trying something new.
