That's because Kara is adorable and comes off as a very nice person. This coupled with lighter tone of the show as well as humor make girl-power declaration much less cringy than when they're delivered by angry butch lesbian.

Makes more sense. Still hate it though, almost as much as the bright yellow on Keaton's suit. I prefer my Batman in all black. Easier to hide in shadows.
I think her role in John Wick was good. She didn't speak, appeared a couple of minutes here and there. That was the perfect role for her.
I doubt it, even if it's not going to be a huge hit locally it will be one overseas and on streaming platforms. Just like Supergirl.

They know exactly what they are doing. The writing is stupid enough to piss off most men but not as stupid for feminists to notice or be bothered by it.
They have to maintain certain agendas, there's a lot of good in there (design, cast etc.) I just don't think nobody knows how to make a female Batman movie.
