Be like me. Put your old cookie tins to work!

Too bad I made a slight crack in the plexiglass top while tightening the screws though. I still suck at Street Fighter Alpha 3, but my shump skills have drastically improved. :D

I have tried all morning to get to the bottom of this existential crisis, but the point remains: I have no idea what this man is talking about.

EDIT: And then the picture loaded and I felt like an asshole.

that looks like it would be an awful surface to play on. does it flex up and down? i just went to my kitchen and checked out a tin and it would flex inward a good 2cm every time i tried to emulate pushing a button.

I put a piece of sheetrock on the inside and screwed it to the bottom. Between that and the plexiglass, the bottom doesn't bend when I press on it. The only problem is the bottom of the tin is kinda slippery so it tends to shift sometimes. =/

wow. sheet rock probably makes the whole unit feel more solid/stable. good fix. id have to worry about cracking it in some of the more intense sessions though.... :lol

Are there still cookies inside so you can recharge between levels?

LOL. No, but since the lid is keeping the bottom sealed, I could probably fit a few in their and they'd stay fresh.

If I ever catch you trying to stop my evil schemes, remind me not to lock you in a garage with nothing but some used cookie tins, a stack of games controllers and a welding torch.
