I can't answer my beard is years of growth and I just started getting in trimmed professionally in the last year. But only ever few months. No fade pretty crazy but low maintenance.

Personally I find the square offs in the back more strange. I'd round those with your cheek bones and go a bit lower on the cheek lines

It's fine, but yeah, half an inch higher may look better. I'd make it a bit rounder at the corner of your jaw, too. That pointy angle looks rough.

Frankly, I think doing anything beyond properly cleaning and moisturizing your beard is just kinda gay. The entire point of a beard is to showcase masculinity. Masculinity is wild, unkempt, aggressive, and natural. I can't think of anything less masculine than a line up, and anyone with a line up just immediately looks a bit more like a dick bag as a result.

Go for the metal look, let it run wild I say. Ya wanna look like a moron from Jersey Shore or Zakk Wylde? Clean it, moisturize, and brush or comb very lightly and rarely, it's all ya need. It's wild to me that dudes worry more about their line ups than their gym progress, but that's neither here nor there I suppose.
