Something about "In a SoulsBorne game" rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's the overt imitation that makes it seem like a cheap knockoff instead of its own thing.
I didn't think it was until they said it, and now I'm less interested.
I laughed when I saw that,I know "Souls" has been used to describe a game style before but "Soulsborne"? I've never heard that description used officially in a game trailer before,I thought that was just the way us gamers describe the style on forums and the like just to not leave Bloodborne out.
Looks and plays like Sekiro, more than anything Soulsborne as they claim.
The animations and the feedback loop are quite rough, to non-existent. Must be a small team with a shoestring budget to afford a standard quality animation studio work.
The concept however, about a dead Geisha taking revenge, is interesting nonetheless. Will watch out for this as the development goes.
