Things that have never happened.
People with 20 and 30 series cards were very disappointed frame gen was 40 series exclusive and were rather vocal about it. According to this thread, this can also be considered "begging" and you can find many other examples like port begging, patch fix/feature begging etc. Like someone said above, it's ok for consumers to ask for things, this is how it works.

In regards to the thread, the only new low I see is certain gamers here trying to pretend they're superior to other gamers for superficial reasons, which then again isn't exacty new. I'd imagine it stems from some sort of insecurity or inferiority complex, but I'm no expert.

So unless a developer patches your games, the Pro is just a $700 PS5 that can’t play discs.
Kind of a disingenuous statement. Many games are improved automatically by being on the superior hardware such as Armored Core VI which now runs at 60+ fps in Quality mode without a patch.

Just see how many people were complaining about Starfield and DLSS. Asking for them to support it which they eventually did. "Developers (own) you nothing" indeed.

I don't understand why CDPR won't patch this game on the PS5Pro, as money shouldn't be an issue for them.

Consoles lost their appeal for me once MS and Sony started porting almost everything to PC, but if I still played on consoles I would definitely be disappointed as the PS5Pro should have the power to run cyberpunk at 60fps even with RT reflections. There's already a 60fps performance mode on the base PS5, but the reflections in this game look like crap.

I'm not entirely sure what a pro patch would bring, the PS5 version runs pretty well already. If you think you're getting ray tracing then I'll have whatever you're smoking. It's not even viable on my 7900XT at 4K.

Nothing new… I remember people begging for GPU drivers a few years ago. Actually i like to read patch and drivers notes.

Fake edit: I though he was talking about normal patchs…

You upset some people who are desperate to justify their $700 purchase.
"…not much to add except it’s bullshit dev don’t own you nothing…even if you bought a new console."

Outside of the grammar police, not a soul has a need to be upset. Thread is now just gliding on watching him attempt to wiggle out of being a hypocrite.

You must be naive if you think anyone here needs "justification" for spending $700.

It's just that CP2077 is one of those games that really deserves such an update, that's why people are talking about it. And they will talk about it no matter how many laughing emojis you throw at them.

It’s true. IMO we should have way more more pro patches. It’s few minutes of work ffs

Game is already future proofed with DRS, it has higher res and performance on Pro.

This is the best way right now, they could include PSSR but with 50% chance it would be broken? Maybe wait until Sony fixes it?

They could include more RT but Pro is too weak for any good RT implementation, this game RT is incredibly heavy (and performs like shit on AMD).
