Begging for patch (cyberpunk) is a new low IMO

Please OP, befriend me. We can take all these nutjobs on GAF together who think they can embarass the likes of you. I charge by the hour.

Game is already future proofed with DRS, it has higher res and performance on Pro.

This is the best way right now, they could include PSSR but with 50% chance it would be broken? Maybe wait until Sony fixes it?

They could include more RT but Pro is too weak for any good RT implementation, this game RT is incredibly heavy (and performs like shit on AMD).
PT is indeed heavy, but RT is very scalable.

raster 278fps

Path tracing 132fps (110% relative difference)

Only RT reflections and shadows 220fps (26% relative difference)

I think the PS5Pro should be able to run RT shadows and reflections at 1440p 60fps, and if it cant be done it means this console is much slower than I expected based on Mark Cerny claims (2-3x faster RT compared to PS5).

Based on AW2 I don't see it TBH. Both games have heavy RT that runs like shit on AMD.

RT shadows in CP have super tiny performance impact but they still needed to make game 30fps to make them work on PS5, reflections and RT lighting (not PT) at least on medium both have massive impact on performance. One or the other? Maybe. But both at the same time? I don't think so.

We really don't know how much better Pro is in RT compared to RDNA3 but I don't think difference is enough to use such heavy RT. Most console/AMD oriented games have very basic, low quality RT in them.

So, given what you've said, let's conclude that the PS5Pro is nowhere near the RTX4070 performance level, because that card would easily run cyberpunk with RT reflections and shadows at 60fps, especially with upscaling.

It seems even the RTX3070 can offer better framerate when not VRAM limited. Dude, the PS5Pro is seriously weak 😂😂, and some delussional sony fans were dreaming about 4070tiSuper level of performance.

I think it's too early to really conclude RT performance.

DF for some reason don't want to test more games (than AW2 and ER) compared to PC GPUs so we really don't know...
