I guess I need to explain that the extension was still on in my browser on every page of this thread.

Calm down, guys. Get some thicker skin.

Yeah, I had the extension installed for a couple of days and thought it was funny, but I uninstalled it after seeing certain people whine about it in Drumpf Trump related threads.

You actually installed an extension on your browser to slightly alter the name of someone due to a sketch on a comedy and you're telling other people to calm down and get thicker skin?

This is seriously the first time I'm hearing about this.

What is the point?

Yes I'm telling you to get a thicker skin. It's a joke. Relax. It was from this show:

Yeah, I had the extension installed for a couple of days and thought it was funny, but I uninstalled it lest certain people whine after seeing the reaction in Drumpf Trump related threads.

Good lord, I never expected people to whine about it. I completely forgot it was installed. Oh the humanity.

This is exactly why you keep the thing..let them whine..

I know where it's from. Usually when people watch a sketch from a comedy show they laugh about it and then forget and move on and maybe sometimes reminisce fondly about it.

That's why it's really ironic that you're telling others to relax. You literally went out of your way to install a script on your browser due to a sketch on a comedy show having a deep impact on you and wanted constant reminder of the sketch itself. That doesn't sound that has a thick skin.

When I read this in the OP I thought there was no way any publication outside of the Onion would actually use this name in any context. Then I clicked on the link and realized the OP went out of their way to actually changed this.

I'm genuinely curious OP. What was the point of doing that?

LOL.

Dude you zeroed in on those two words in an article about someone else entirely and got all bent out of shape about it. There's no need to get upset. Seriously-just take a deep breath and move on.

Can someone send Ben Carson back in time to meet the real Andrew Jackson? I'm sure he'll have a joyous time seeing that side of him. Can't promise Mr. Jackon'll be happy to see him tho.

Fuck the both of them. Good for Harriet.

I don't think you understand what the term 'thick skin' means.

I really hate the fact that people think it's gone. it's not issued every year, but it's always in circulation and has been since the bicentennial. They are not that uncommon, and are quite handy. Carson is foolish by talking about replacing Jefferson. Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, and Franklin are IMO the "immortals" of paper money; they ain't ever going away as their contributions are way too important. Other people have similar sentiments on the big money 4.

You're talking about the only legal bill that gets routinely mistaken as fake money, it's so fucking rare

They're so rare that my dad likes to collect them.

He has about 3 in total.

I don't like the mentality that if you must say something that is different, you must be a troll. It's getting frustrating.

It's kind of hard to take you seriously when everything you say is 'different'.

I always carry $2 bills. They're great. I have 15 of them right here! They are perfect for tipping, because people believe they are rare and are worth more.

But, I will admit I have had people not believe they were real.
