[Forgotten Ancient]

I find that my daily internet routine consists of frequenting the GAF gaming and OT forums, checking ESPN, browsing - but rarely reading since the election - news websites, and looking up porn.

In spite of all the things I do online, I find that the thing I do the most while surfing is nothing. I look at my computer and stare...trying to think of something, but I can't. There's nearly infinite information and entertainment that can be found, but I rarely stray from my routine.

So, I ask you all - what are you doing online besides sitting in the forums?

What I'm gonna do is watch this thread plummet to the bottom of the page with a few views and no replies.

Yahoo fantasy sports and like 6 other forums. Though I dont post nearly as much on any of the others.

**EDIT**Yeah I forgot about torrents. I work nights and my VCR isnt very reliable.

I'm relatively new to torrenting. What programs do you guys use? Is there a site or a program that helps you locate different files?

Emails, read news, visit specialized sites... and get the most of torrents, just in case this wonderful thing is taken away somehow.

So Sera, this begs the question.. Why not use Azureus? Does it cause problems on your PC like I've heard some people have?

I use it, but can't update to the latest version, or it stops working.

oh, and as for my internet habits:

I'm on GA whenever I'm on my PC, which is whenever I'm not at school. Always browsing the OT which is funny because I initially came to these boards for the Gaming forum.

When GA's running slow, I'll load up Xbox-Scene, as there always seems to be new news there.

It's pretty sad that my entire day is usually devoted to being a GAF whore, but that's how it is.

The thing other than GAF that occupies most of my online time now though is deviantArt. I've got a gallery there, and I even won a 3-month subscription (for extra services and features) by winning a trivia game. They've got some rather interesting and open forums that I post quite a bit on. My dA Gallery.

I used to look up all sorts of information and current events but now I just stay on top of trivia, www.straightdope.com . Slate.com used to be the NPR of the internet but I've stopped checking them out.

I'm still just looking for my place on the internet.
