Ok so I am in a mood to watch a good movie with Dracula (always been fascinated with the legend). Which one do you recommend?

look it say it right there Deadlier then Dracula....

Francis Ford Coppola's "Bram Stoker's Dracula" is the one closest to the book, and my perfonal favorite drac movie.

Nosferatu(theres a late70s early 80s version if you don't want to deal with the old stuff, but then you miss out on the creepy dracula guy)

If you want the old version, theres a cheapo copy with some rather cool music. Then there's a version with music done by Type 0 Negative which is kind of a cheesey thing.

and Bram Stoker's Dracula

For a good time, I suggest 2 movies.

This one is my personal favorite dealing with Dracula Lore:

Its a 1922 German Silent film, but it will scare the hell out of you.

The other Dracula movie that I always watch for some reason is this:

I guess I like it cause its somewhat, and I use that loosely faithful to the whol mythology of Dracula.

Yeah, I enjoy most of it. It's just a shame that you have to put up with Keanu, who acts like he's already had the blood sucked out of him the first time he steps on screen. Everybody else is great in it though.

D'accord! How can you beat out Gary 'fuckin' Oldman (yes he is now dubbed that name)??? Fantastic movie even despite Keanu.

Murnau's 'Nosferatu' is an absolute masterpiece. You're doing yourself a massive injustice if you don't watch it.

Herzog's take is also wonderful, with Klaus Kinski brilliant in the role of Dracula.
