Just got invited to see Ben Kweller in NYC when he opens for the Black Crowes in March. This is pretty sick. John Kent (drummer) calls me out of the blue and says they are doing this show and if I can get to NYC that they will add me to the list without question

I'm giddy right now!! This is freaking awesome!!

So I get to see my friends as well as see The Black Crowes (which could be their last show)

I've seen Kweller live before. He's fun, but I'm not so fond of the newer album. Late.

The new album suffers because of the way it was recorded, pretty much live. So you get a bad live recording, instead of polished studio efford. Then you see Ben live and his sound is so much better then the CD.
The songs are pretty good, just suffer after hearing Ben live.
