I am looking for the best overall laptop in the price range of $600-$700. It needs to be a fairly bright screen, have decent sound quality, etc.

Got any suggestions? I am willing to go higher in price, but I’d like to keep it low if I could get something pretty good.

It would be great if you can find Ryzen 4xxx laptop around this price range , so far I've found this Swift 3 but I heard the screen isn't that great

Laptops in that price range don't have great screens. Bright and color accurate ones are sadly a premium in laptop world.

Look at Ideapad Flex 5 if a glossy screen is okay to you. It's foldable and comes with a pen.

This one's 750 though. I dunno if you can get something at 700. That's a lot to ask for.

Yeah I don't understand how. Sometimes it just looks like low end laptop displays manage to look worse than horrible TN panels from 6-7 years ago.

Even a low budget laptop in 2020 should have a vastly superior display compared to the nightmare trash that was TN panels in 2014. TN panels have thankfully come a long way though.

Look for something with a AMD4500u/4700u.
Forget the Acer Swift 3 it has a shitty screen, the Lenovo Flex 5 was on sale on Amazon for $600.
