I went to grab Tales of Symphonia for $19.99 at GameCrazy today and was asked by the manager what upcoming games I was interested in. The only thing that popped into my mind was Wario Ware Twisted so I spouted it out. He went back behind the counter and pulled out a poster and told me they got an extra one in and that I could have it if I put down $5 for the game. Since I was going to purchase it anyhow I pre-ordered and brought this home.

That's what I meant. Everyone I know has been calling it a hologram for so long it's just kind of how it's accepted, even though I know it's not technically one.

Plus, Lenticular Image doesn't roll off the tongue as well.

It's not torn and it's only 'bent' because there's a pillow underneath.

It's not torn. Those "rips" you see in it are metal clips to keep the wooden dowels in place. The poster is actually vinyl so it's very roll-friendly and the dowels keep it straight and weighted down. They also come with suction cups, but they're rarely used.

I still say the best preorder gift is the copy of Ocarina of Time and Master quest, ples videos of other Zeldas that came with Wind Waker. I mean seriously, what can top a COMPLETE version of a games that is so good, that it tops the actual game you were buying, plus it comes with an entire remix (previously unreleased) of the same game! I'm a really huge Zelda fan, but really, nothing can top an entire game that is part of the series you're buying, for free!

I asked the clerk at a local EB if he could give me the 3 foot tall Wario Ware Touched mock DS box (with the simulated moustache!) when they're done using it since I spend so much money in their store. Bastard said no.

When I got the N64, we left the claim ticket in the trunk. My mother was determined to make sure I got it on the first day it came out. (Screw the early releases) She took a power drill to the keyhole in the trunk to get it. So we finally get the N64 and the guy behind the towering plastic castle inside TRU (Remember those days? Oh man, the mystical box of games) hands us the N64 and both games. My mom looks around and expects a poster or shirt of some sort and cusses up a storm explaining what we had to do to get it. So he runs into the back and grabs whatever he can find, including a bunch of Killer Instinct and Diddy Kong t-shirts. It was awesome.

Haha...sounds desparate...but surely, a key would've been better tahn a powerdrill? I'm no locksmith, but I would think it would do less damage. Maybe even popping the latch.

It was my father's Jaguar. There's two keys that come with it, a regular and a valet. The valet key can't open the trunk or glove box.

There's a latch, but it was locked. There was also another latch in the front seat.

Then the next time you're near Redmond, Washington, stop by the Nintendo Customer Service area/shop, and be polite to the person who pops up to help you.

I received four posters (my sister was given two more), a FF:CC Display Unit (cylindrical lit thingie), and several other freebies when I visited. (I also bought a lot from their shop, so I don't feel liked I ripped them off, but the woman was nicely giving us the freebies before I'd even purchased anything.)

And I even saw some guy in a Mario costume as I was leaving.

Yeah, I'm betting it is. I dug out some digital photos I have from it (I know, total geek), and in one of them the nametag "Barbara Kelly-Ruff" is visible.

Really nice person, and as I said, quite liberal with the goodies, so that was very appreciated.
