How do we know, that rather than being alive, this earth is our hell?
And that the reason we have religion, is for us to keep believing that we didnt make it to heaven, and its like a thorn in our thigh stabbing us all the time, for the torture of our living hell?

Seems to me that a potato would be a very simple thing to put into space
Because the potato has a very simple rhythm, it doesnt have a complicated life pattern
If the potato can not survive out of the earth's sphere of influence
Then I would be very very cautious if I were concerned with the total problem of sending man out into outerspace until I have found out what it was that the potato lacked in order to permit it to survive out there
