Captain Planet

Captain Planet, He's our Hero. Gonna Take Pollution down to ZERO!

Sometimes the world looks perfect,
Nothing to rearrange.
Sometimes you get a feeling
Like you need some kind of change.
No matter what the odds are this time,
Nothing's going to stand in my way.
This flame in my heart,
And a long lost friend
Gives every dark street a light at the end.
Standing tall, on the wings of my dream.
Rise and fall, on the wings of my dream
.
The rain and thunder
The wind and haze
I'm bound for better days.
It's my life and my dream,
Nothing's going to stop me now

WONDER WOMAN THEME SONG

"Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
All the world's waiting for you,
and the power you possess.

In your satin tights,
Fighting for your rights
And the old Red, White and Blue.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
Now the world is ready for you,
and the wonders you can do.

Make a hawk a dove,
Stop a war with love,
Make a liar tell the truth.

Wonder Woman,
Get us out from under, Wonder Woman.
All our hopes are pinned on you.
And the magic that you do.

Stop a bullet cold,
Make the Axis fall,
Change their minds, and change the world.

Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman.
You're a wonder, Wonder Woman."

:lol

seriously though, the real answer is:

I bet we been together for a million years,
And I bet we'll be together for a million more.

Oh, It's like I started breathing on the night we kissed,
And I can't remember what I ever did before.

What would we do baby, Without Us?
What would we do baby, Without Us?

And there ain't no nothing we can't love each other through.

What would we do baby, Without Us?

Sha la la la.

makes me want to paint a picture of Michael J. Fox.

Dunno if this counts, but Monday Night Football. The first time i hear that around August/September, i know its football season. :)

"We run, we jump, we swim and play. We row and go on trips
But the things that last forever are our dear friendships.
Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you it makes me wanna fart!
--"It's 'I hope we never part'
Now get it right or pay the price!"

Now we will share a lifetime of the fondest memories
By the lake of Anawanna set in the old pine trees

Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts
And when we think about you (This thing came apart)

Think Anawanna. Speak Anawanna. Live Anawanna -- AAH!"

Either that or this one:

What is the matter with you guys???

All of these posts and not one mention of "The Littlest Hobo"???

Where were you guys like 2 weeks ago when olubode started that other thread????

Now this is a story all about how
My life got flipped turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I become the prince of a town called Bel-Air

In West Philadelphia born and raised
On the playground is where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all
And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school
When a couple of guys who were up to no good
Started makin' trouble in my neighborhood
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared
And said you're movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air

I begged and pleaded with her day after day
But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way
She give me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket
Put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it
First class yo this is bad
Drinkin' orange juice out of a champagne glass
Is this what the people of Bel-Air live like
Hmmm this might be all right

But wait I hear they're prissy,bu-shwa and all that
Is this the type of place that they should send this cool cat
I don't think so I'll see when I get there
I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air
Well uh the plane landed and when I came out
There was a dude looked like a cop standin' there with my name out
I ain't tryin' to get arrested yet I just got here
I sprang with the quickness like lightening disappeared

I whistled for a cab and when it came near
The license plate said "Fresh", and it had dice in the mirror
If anything I could say that this cab was rare
But I thought man forget it yo homes to Bel-Air

I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8
And I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo Holmes, smell ya later!"
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there
To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel-Air

Thread discussion over.

themesongs were like a huge production back then! :lol i just listened to "growing pains" full orchastras come in and shit with the vocals. and that fucking 80s guitar. :lol

Wasn't The Littlest Hobo Canada only?

If not...then I hope everyone else got to see the one with Mike Myers. I couldn't stop laughing though he was playing a serious role. Maybe it was his hair...

Another one that could be Canada only as well...Danger Bay. That track had attitude. You could play that at a club and it'd get everyone moving.

Out the door perhaps. :P

The Facts of Life (worst tv show ever, but that song is stuck in my head)
Charles in Charge
Knight Rider
Transformers
GI-Joe
Wonder Years
Real American Hero
21 Jump Street
Family Ties
Family Guy

That about wraps it up for notable tv theme songs.

Oh yeah, what was that tv show where the cops sang songs randomly throughout the show? That show was probably the funniest show of all time (unintentional) and should be mentioned for tv songs since the whole show was a theme song.

What ever happened to predictibility?
The milkman, the paperboy, evening TV.
Everywhere you look , everywhere you go (there's a heart).
There's a heart
A hand to hold onto.
Everywhere you look , everywhere you go.
There's a face
Of somebody who needs you.
Eveywhere you look,
When you're lost out there and you're all alone,
A light is waiting to carry you home,
Everywhere you look.
Everywhere you look.

Let the time flow, let the love grow,
Let the rain shower, let the rose flower.
Love it seeks, love it finds. Love it conquers, love it binds.

We come to each other from different worlds.
Drawn to each other by the love inside of us.
We give to each other our different worlds.
As long as we can do it, life’s is going to breeze right through it.

Let the time flow, let the love grow,
Let the rain shower, let the rose flower.

Love it seeks, love it finds, love it conquers, love it binds.
Love it seeks, love it finds, love it conquers, love it binds.

Before most of your time but FU I'm old.

The theme went as high as #18 on the Billboard Top 40 Charts in 1979.
